This is pretty much a copy paste from my topic on battlelog, I wanted to see if someone from Symthic could enlighten me. I haven't found a single decent use for this gadget.

While trying to use it, I came up with a couple of ideas that would make it much more useful:

1. Make it stop grenades too, it would make it much more useful in infantry based combat and objective based games with MCOMs
2. Give points to whoever laid it down when it actually stops any explosive. All other non lethal gadgets give some sort of reward to the owner when used

I think it has a lot of potential given how nade spam is often a problem.

It's quite situational, i must add, but:
1) for vehicles it can be used as a shield. You can fire through it with your tank, but the enemy tank can't. Put one down, get back in your tank, and rape the enemy
2) in bottleneck situations (i.e. mainly locker, rush, and small areas (like the small buildings in dawnbreaker), where explosivespam commonly happens
3) roofcamping. it stops xm25's, helicopter rockets/gunner, jet rockets...anything that goes boom, and some extra
