While I like how Bernie is pulling Hillary slightly to the left, but I'm not sure if it's the best thing for the democrats to happen. I am still convinced that it will be a Hillary vs. Trump election in the end, and I dearly hope that enough republicans and swing-voters realize the potential danger that Trump is and vote Hillary.

I'd like to say "And if Trump wins I'll just watch the U.S. burn from afar and gloat", but anywhere on this planet won't be far enough in that case.

Memorable quotes not taken yet:

Of course, this ignores the non-constant cross-sectional first moment of area across the chest as well as non-constant material properties of the boob; it would be difficult to perform a more detailed analysis (as in, I'd have to have a shape function AND I'd need to derive a function for elastic modulus as a function of lateral breast coordinate) but whatever. It's 2am and I'm lazy.

I always believed science should be very hands on experience.

You should also answer this question I had posed in that thread: Would you be willing to pay your surgeon more if he was going to use a chainsaw for the opening incision of surgery? Clearly using a chainsaw isn't truly suited for surgery but that doesn't really matter. If he's "skilled" enough to be able to use the wrong tools of the trade, he should be rewarded for that skill right?

Since the type of nominee that practically always wins the GOP race, isn't going to without convention rulefuck, Hillary has a better chance of winning the general election. A matchup against Cruz or Trump is favoured towards the dems, plus the electoral college advantage they currently hold.

Normally ofc, the Republican party would have rallied behind one of the consensus candidates either before, or after the first contest or two and then most erryone else would have dropped out. leaving the fringe candidates with only their base to play with, annd then they lose. This would have given a relatively standard opponent for hillary, which would have made it much harder for her, given that the dems have been in office for some time, and there's no sitting president defending it, and voters opinion on the economy still isn't great so, hillary would have faced an uphill battle, even with electoral college advantage.

Since none of these things happened the consensus candidates are kinda screwed, field is too split for one to actually work, plus fuck-all of the party actors have come out in support of anyone. This leaves Hillary against much more extreme candidates. This benefits her ofc. They leave plenty of space in the centre for hillary to take up, and they risk both causing some (relatively minor, the US is pretty polarised with politics, they'll support the party's eventual nominee anyway, mostly) splintering of the GOP base, and making it Suuuuuper easy for the Dems to energise and turn out their base during the general.

That said, whilst a Cruz nomination would be a known electoral suicide. both a trump or convention-rulefucked anyone else nomination would be an unknown suicide, and would be really interesting to watch come the general election.

And so the RNC convention begins.

Although, they're perhaps not quite sure how to pay for it yet.

The many and varied reasons people are giving for not attending is amusing. Senator Jeff Flake intends to mow his lawn instead. Senator Steve Daines is going fly-fishing. Only one of the RNCs previous nominees is going to attend, and it's 1996's Bob Dole.

Michelle Obama may be even more compelling than Barack Obama as an orator. The speech she gave earlier this evening in support of a Hillary presidency was far more striking than anything either Trump or Clinton have said themselves.

I found it interesting to watch Bernie Sanders enduring the booing crowd as he begged them to vote for Clinton in order to avoid Trump.

Apparently the people aren't keen on the "lesser of two evils" approach. Too bad eh, since that's exactly what we've had for generations of "democracy".

well, if my common knowledge is still good enough and isn't outdated yet, clinton would be better wordlewide, trump is for only the usa.

now, if as i think many people don't know shit a bout politics the same way i don't, they basically have to choose between "sacricing the usa" or "sacricing the world" , and if guns are involved in this, yo u bet that half of the people will choose on sacrificing the rest of the world.

although that's just the viewpoint of an ignorant who still has been left with "let's build the wall!" and "just a small loan of 1m dollars", so yeah, can't really talk about it, but i wanted to point out that people REALLY love guns, think i saw a somewhat recent study time ago that 60 % of americans have guns in their houses, and about 40% love being able to have them*

not sure what they meant by those words though, or if i even remember correctly.

i'm basically talking of fried air.

Interesting. I would have said the same thing, except to vote Trump to avoid Clinton.

Too bad eh, since that's exactly what we've had for generations of "democracy".

Given how much of an absolute shitshow this previous Australian election was (How the actual hell did Pauline Hanson get a seat?), I can understand this statement.
something something Model 8 bestgun

How to ice an A-91

Next, wanna try adding a guy that you KNOW is bad, and just testing to see that? Example: PP-2000 (god I so wanna love this gun, and yet...)

Example: PP-2000 (god I so wanna love this gun, and yet...)

PP-2000 added. Y'know, it's not that bad....

Yes, it comes in last so far, but that is mostly because I'm making it shoot at 100m ADS - Not Moving as one of the criteria. Even then, between 50-100m Not Moving, when you include Useability, it is only 1.37% worse than the MTAR-21. Within 50m then it even beats the A-91.

Have a look, vs. the A-91 Carbine:

Using it with Muzzle Brake and Compensator is a wash in terms of overall performance. Comp is SLIGHTLY more accurate, while MB is SLIGHTLY more easy to use. Their overall scores are basically tied, with MB just ahead. I guess either can be recommended.

But... You can't be counting for the fact that it takes 9 bullets to kill at "long" range... Don't you dare tell me my A-91 is worse than a 9 BTK 650 RPM mediocre PDW.

Also. Just go heavy barrel. The recoil is low enough.

Well, technically...

Comparing a PP2K with HB and an A-91 with comp and stubby (as you suggested in an earlier post), at 50m not moving, the A-91 is only better by 4 damage per hitrate. While at 75m and 100m, surprisingly the PP2K does better than the A-91 (I'm pretty damn surprised as well).

And 10m and 50m moving the PP2K also does more damage per hitrate than the A-91. At 25m the A-91 is only better by about half a bullet's damage as well.

In addition, the PP2K has a much larger mag size and substantially less recoil. And it looks hella awesome. So comparing the A-91 to a PDW is of some worth after all, as the PP2K is better (technically, not practically) than the A-91.

Mind blown.

I... I...

*cries in a corner*

Zer0Cod3x explained it very well. If you look at the raw numbers right here on Symthic Comparison, you can see how that happened:

A-91 vs PP-2000 | BF4 Weapon Comparison | Symthic

A-91's "23%" RPM advantage only afforded it 1 extra round.

Reload times are wash.

Velocities are wash.

V-Recoil are wash (and this is HBar on PP2k vs. A-91 without).

Hipfire and ADS - Moving are better on the PP2k, but it's a PDW and not the surprising part.

The surprising part is that, as equipped (and we see above that PP2k HBar has almost same V-Recoil as A-91 without HBar so why not?), the PDW performs better at 50 - 100m than a bloody Carbine. Why?

H-Recoil Spread, 0.525 vs. 0.45, advantage PP2k.

SIPS, 42% better on the PP2k.

And here is the most important part. ADS - Not Moving Spread, 0.35 vs. 0.2, 43% improvement.

Without HBar then of course the PP2k loses, which is why when I add all the attachments together for an Overall Ranking, it would slot below the A-91. Run HBar on it, though, then... I'm sorry

How you came up to this conclusion ? Deriving the future from the past has been an approach, but its not viable any more.

I bet Trump will win.
