Brexit

I'm not from the UK so I can't really have a personal opinion about it but it's still interesting to read about it.
Are you for or against the UK leaving the EU?

Of course you can, it directly affects all member states of the EU.
Are you for or against the UK leaving the EU?
I'm against leaving the EU, but I do believe it should be reformed to some extent and made more democratic, direct and streamlined.

Of course, leaving the EU would also make Scottish independence come straight right back to the forefront here. Scotland is more pro EU than England, and brexit would hasten the inevitable split from the inbred scum that makes up the UK Tory government.
Scotland in/out poll.

The way Cameron is doing things makes him look like a spoiled brat throwing tantrum a cause he has to play by the same rules the other kids do. "Give us more toys or I'm going home, I'm special."

I'm gonna bump this.

Thoughts? Opinion? Predictions?
Personally, i don't take a stance on whether or not there is a creating entity because i'm humble enough to realize, in my fucking insignificance, the concept escapes my comprehension with a lead of 9001 light years.

I'm gonna bump this.
Thoughts? Opinion? Predictions?

Thoughts:
  • This whole referendum is an absolute shambles of lies, slander, violence, and hatred, with neither side being able to claim the moral high ground.
  • I am so fucking thankful that it'll all be over on Friday.

Opinions:
  • This referendum should have never been called as, regardless of what is "decided", up to 50% of the entire country will be unhappy with the outcome.
  • The level of selfishness, inhumanity, guttural hatred, and sheer insurmountable blind ignorance, or perhaps blind refusal, to the serious and wide reaching implications both to the country and the world of this vote has simply decimated my faith in this country, the government, and, in shocking honesty, my fellow countrymen as a whole...
  • OH MY FUCKING GOD STOP USING THE WORD "BREXIT"!!! IT SOUNDS LIKE A CUNT-FUCKERLING TYPE OF LAXATIVE AND HAS NEVER BEEN FUNNY OR CLEVER SINCE IT'S CONCEPTION!!!!!!!! HHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

Predictions:
  • The UK leaves: Between 10 to +44 years to finalise the severing of ties (+44 years being the length of time the last country to leave, Switzerland, has took to finalise their leaving. Not that it's "finalised", they're still going), during which Britain will have lost every single trade pact we have made during the last 40 years (please don't forget all of our trade pacts were written THROUGH the EU, and in the case of some international ones the EU is listed as a necessity to the pact's longevity. EU is taken out from the Jenga tower and the rest falls), will have had the vast majority of multinational companies totally pull support, we will more-than-likely just be starting the mammoth task of attempting to carefully & independently rewrite our entire legal system from the grounds up (and depending who is in power, they might choose to "streamline" the approach by removing "unnecessary burdens left by EU bureaucracy" such as maternity leave and sick pay, among others), and will have dropped our trousers and taken a massive squirty dump all over what very-little international respect we once had. This on top of Scotland voting to leave the UK, breaking up the United Kingdom, probably followed closely by Wales doing the same, and then we'll sit and wallow in our depression (both emotional and economical) for a little while wondering "Why did we ever think this was a good idea?!" before the treaty in Northern Island collapses (one of the integral points in the Good Friday Treaty was the free movement of Irish citizens through the whole island facilitated by wholly free borders...Which is kinda hard to do when we've left) and the IRA gets very rightfully angry at us all...All the while the rest of the world sits and laughs and laughs and laughs at how we've committed the metaphorical act of sticking our bollocks in a food blender whilst screaming "FUCK YOU ALL THIS IS FOR OUR OWN GOOD!!!"...And rightfully so!
  • The UK Remains: I honestly don't know. Whereas their isn't a doubt in my mind that the UK will be infinitely better off by staying a part of the EU, I haven't quite shook off the thought that the nation's (already exceedingly small and highly tarnished) integrity will have been completely and utterly destroyed, partially through the act of just calling the referendum in the first place and mainly through the vitriol, venomous, and caustic attitudes that have been revealed to exist upon this island towards not-only the European Union, but the rest of the world.

And me? I'm unsure as well...But I just want to sincerely apologise to everyone who doesn't live in the UK for the shit that you've seen. I'd like to bend a knee and ask you all for forgiveness, and I hope that you please PLEASE understand (as insanely fucking hard as it sounds from what you've no doubt heard or seen recently) that not everyone on this little island is a bigoted, xenophobic, right-wing fuck-knuckle. There are some who are simply distraught by this whole state of affairs, who are sickened by the sheer lies and bottomless hatred that they've seen in the recent months, who are genuinely wishing that none of this had ever fucking happened, and who are really really REALLY just hoping for a better world for everybody on this weird little planet. I like to think I'm one of them...

And this is why I don't do politics...
My Dad used to say "Politics is like having a dick. A lot of people have them and it's perfectly alright to have one, but there's never a reason for you to get it out in public".

I'm sorry everyone. I'll go back to Fallout 4 now...

I've sat and came up with 3 theories about your PC, Rizn.
1) Its constructed by Satan and every so often it'll crash to a Red Screen that just says "Another must fall", which is your queue to go out, find a virgin, kill her and pour the blood over the beating-heart-like processor within
2) Its powered by some secret military/alien tech.
3) (My sister's idea) Its powered by the core of the Earth and is, as a direct result, responsible for climate change. Your PC being able to run the BF4 beta without crashing/lagging will destroy humanity

As a Dane, i know that feeling of helplessness in the face of ignorance... The current party in power is the Danish People's Party, which is a national socialistic party... Nuff said.

I'm an outsider but I also think staying in the EU is the best option.
The European Union operates a single market which allows free movement of goods, capital, services and people between member states.

And I agree entirely! It does brilliant brilliant brilliant things, things that nothing on this planet have ever even attempted! I love the EU to bits AND the people in it!
