Tried to come up with a defensive build that uses the wonderful stat combinations of knight and cavalier with a nice hint of zerker.

Point is to be a combination of support and damage. Be mobile, be supportive, be hard to kill. And also this build has nice passive boosts to damage so corruption or boonstrip do nothing on ya

Also I just wanted to include sword into the game. I Imagine support guard in the party would do nice things with this build.

Thoughts??

Just seen this post, I would definitely get rid of berserker's power as you would want to be using Flurry as much as possible for the imobs.

Updated and completely revamped boon support warrior to run with support guard (also expensive as fuck to run):

Actual support warrior build - http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQRBHdxG2…BBQP1fIFATKjA-w - Optional swaps - Zerkers stance can be replaced with Endure Pain or Signet of Stamina. Banner can be replaced by Signet of Rage. Energy sigil can be swapped for any number of options, and the second sigil on mainset is also free. ( stacking sigils like bloodlust or momentum are likely to be strong. )

Gearswap - Soldiers for Valk for improved damage. Goal is to maintain 30% crit ( as close to 30% as possible ). extra swaps of cavaliers and knights can give you extra flex, so long as you maintain the 28-30% critrate.

If paired with a support guardian, swap Quick Breathing for Empower Allies. ( unless conditions are a big problem )

That is what I would like to run when support guard is in party.
If wanted you can always put move two points from burst mastery to Phalanx strength or to cleansing ire.

Troopper runes are there if people are sloppy and can't cleanse enough with only guard and their own. Also you can always put quick breathing and Lung capacity for more boons on allies, but then you lose 150 power and leg specialist.

One thing I also thought about was shouthealing if needed: At that point you can just slide cele trinkets there to get more healing.

Sigils are debatable but incapacitation is always an option instead of intel or battle.

Comments and critique?
Remember this is to be run with guard or in place of guard temporarily.

Do dolyak signet and berserker's stance have the same time for stability? If so, I'd take the shorter cool down tbh. I haven't been CCd enough to lose all my stab stacks yet so I don't think the extra stacks from the signet are worth it. I also think vigorous shouts would be more beneficial than burst mastery.

My first attempt to create a build for Ele

Support staff healer... The point is not to do damage but to CC the enemy and keep allies alive as long as possible! Also I can't into D/D yet so staff is a way for me to learn the class.

Critique??

Buildkonstruktor :: Guild Wars 2 Skills

Better, more heals, more condi clear, more survivability and more damage.

But if powerful AoE CC and protective+offensive boons + heals/clears is the goal, Support guard is generally better.

S/S - Staff - Support guard.

We definitely lack support builds atm, a few support guards would be extremely useful.

Offensive support warrior v2.0

Ditched sigil of incapacitation because i found it to be annoying because its random. I personally want to control my immobs so that i can utilise them when needed

Empower allies is not a must but it's hard to argue with 150 power for the whole squad.

Investigating the possibility of a PS WvW build by request of Expandas..

Third utility slot is up to preference as it offers no extra might gen:

Bulls Charge as a gap closer could work but with no greatsword it has little followup damage. Other stances could work situationally but Dolyak Signet and Shake It Off would be the better pick in my opinion. Both give a second stun break and Dolyak Signet provides hilarious amounts of stability.

As for traits there are two optional defensive swaps that can be made. Empower Allies can be dropped for Shrug It Off if you're having a lot of trouble with stuns, although you really shouldn't. Destruction of the Empowered could be swapped for Brawlers Recovery to take advantage of Fast Hands minor. Ideally this warrior would run in a group with a Guardian, Ele, and Mes, with the last slot open to whatever.

Pros:
2400 power
3200 armor
21.6k hp
63% crit rate w/ Fury
Multiple blasts
11 stacks of instant Might (23 with Empower, 26 with F1 Virtue)

Cons:
No fire field
Much less crit damage than normal
Sacrifices sigil utility for might generation
PS Might only lasts for 9.5 seconds

Edit:

Arms variant for Oddgo: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vJAQNBiYDZk…qUYwBBgUA5J1C-w

Thanks Yugas. I see the utility of PS might being similar to how it works in PvE. We can do the initial buffing off blasts and then rely on PS might if there are rotation gaps, boon strips or a need to blast other fields. Been thinking a lot about fire aura synergy. Could eles swap to aura sharing?

When the tempest comes out I want to try out a aura sharing build. We can try it this weekend during the beta?
