Hi everyone,

My brother and I are the ones who created that spreadsheet and the weapon ADS recoil video. We spent the last 4 days tirelessly counting frame values and testing with 99% accuracy in our results. To answer some questions:

1. The units used for range are arbitrary units as given by the FHJ-18. This is the only way we could obtain a 99% accurate measure for range. You can convert the units to meters by dividing by 3.8. (you can verify by using the Millimeter Scanner)

2. @ Mousy
The Five-Seven DOES have a high damage range of 8.

3. All Reload, Add, ADS times and Rate of Fire values were determined by recording gameplay at 59.94fps, using a frame-accurate decoder (DSS2) to count the number of frames for each respective value and convert the result into a usable unit (seconds).

4. An interesting observation - Damage dropoff in this game is NOT linear. Rather, Dropoffs occur at discrete intervals.

5. Movement speeds are 100% accurate. Knife, Pistols, SMG and Shotguns all have the same movement speed. Sprint time was NOT tested.

6. RPM for FAL/SMR are without select fire

7. Max/Min damage values were determined using deductive reasoning + process of elimination by utilizing the information on the number of bullets required to kill at HP values ranging between 35-200% (a long process!)

looks decent actually...nothing too overboard like the type-95 from mw3

The only concern I see is that the FAL is straight up superior to the SMR but the rest looks ok.

I might actually buy a COD again...

I am not sure. With the lines of sight in older games you would think so but there well be more than a few places where that extra range will come in handy. Also it will come down to how they both handle when full auto too. That will sway things.

The FAL and SMR look like the M417 vs SKS.

Fal is better at closer ranges (also is 55 = 5.5m? and 125 = 12.5m?) like teh SKS but the SMR designed for slightly longer engagements? (m417 style yo)

Also whats teh recoil like on the different guns?

And Dice,still recommend me to get it?

This was done with a fair amount of in game trial and error. The guys that made this chart did not get into the game files. That's why there is no recoil. They put 4 days of work into it so that's why I said its not mine. I did not want to take credit for any of their work.

Also ask me in a few days Sao. I have an Exam Friday and he Australian servers have not been working today. On PC from what I have played tho I feel outmatched. I am so use to BF3's slower speed that I do not react to a drop shotter near fast enough and die. I also have yet to get my aim down. When that happens tho I think this game will rock.

I had a good laugh at the rates of fire of the Skorpion and QCQ-05 when using "Rapid Fire".

In my opinion, that seems kind of broken.

Not sure that all of these are correct, ive seen a few charts from other people that had different numbers, and from my experience the MSMC and MTAR do not have the same rate of fire(havnt really tested or payed enough attention to anything else).
