COD: Ghosts Dedicated servers confirmed

Larry Hyrb tweeted out that Ghosts will have dedicated servers on XBox One. This is certainly good news for XBox one players, but does it matter for players on other platforms? Does anyone on this site still even care about Call of Duty?

I actually think this year Ghosts might actually beat BF4. This year, Ghosts has actually changed quite a bit. BF4's VOs now include which compass direction the spot was in, but Ghosts takes it a step further by stating the actual location (i.e. atrium or back door). On top of that, Ghosts has better mobility than previous CoDs and they have a slide-to-cover maneuver with a contextual cover system. BF4 only has the latter and that has barely been seen. And what sweetens the deal for me is that Ghosts actually has optics magnifying only the region inside the scope. BF4 this time around just seems like what BF3 should have been and so far, it honestly doesn't feel that different from BF3. It's funny that this time around, Ghosts is the one that changed things up.

Oh shit it has sliding?

You know what, fuck huge 64p maps, vehicles, good dynamic maps, loads of weapons and better graphics, Ghosts has sliding!
Personally, i don't take a stance on whether or not there is a creating entity because i'm humble enough to realize, in my fucking insignificance, the concept escapes my comprehension with a lead of 9001 light years.

After thinking about it for a bit, I remembered the new naval combat and commander features, I'd forgotten about those when I wrote that post. Sorry. Either way, Ghosts is still a noticeable shift from older COD games.
