Project Reality

Project Reality: Realistic Gaming Redefined

This started off as a mod for BF2, and is now standalone and harbors it's own mods now.
They also (tried to make) made this for Arma 2 and 3, but they kindof flopped due to technical reasons.

Now the PR:BF2 standlone version is farout the most popular one and is still very active.
Squad originates from this. The same developers from PR started on Squad (but I think you already know).

I was surprised I did not find anything about this on this forum using the search.

Any1 familiar with Project Reality and what is your opinion on it?

I do not know about a revive project for BF2. Project Reality departed from BF2 a long time ago now it's a standalone and it's engine mutated severely.
Saturday peak easy 850-1000, week days 200-400 for PR. For years on end now.

That sounds to be around the same player population as the Revive Project for "Battlefield 2" then, which gets around 800 players online at daily peak times.
