The envy has an SSD and it's an ultrabook format. Problem is 32GB is barely enough for the OS and work problems depending on how big of a suit of stuff you need to use.

Have you looked into Asus/Acer? Are you in the US or Can and have you looked at Newegg? - ASUS B400A-XH52 Intel Core i5 3317U (1.70GHz) 4GB Memory 256GB SSD 14" Ultrabook Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit

I know it's 100$ more than your price range but its got a large SSD and its a bit tougher than your garden variety system. There are lots of other options right at 800$ that have a better SSD option too: - Acer TravelMate TimelineX TM8481T-6873 Notebook Intel Core i7 2637M (1.70GHz) 4GB Memory 128GB SSD Intel HD Graphics 3000 14.0" Windows 7 Professional 32-bit/64-bit Dual Hotload (but only has HD3000 vid card)

And there is the slightly more expensive HP probook model: - HP ProBook 450 G1 (G4S55UT#ABA) Notebook Intel Core i5 4200M (2.5GHz) 4GB Memory 128GB SSD Intel HD Graphics 4600 15.6" Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit (almost none left in stock)

Yeah I've checked New Egg, but could not find much. I'm in the US.

I've got that same HP Probook posted here in this thread, but without the SSD I think. That ASUS is out of my price range, but was a good find. The Acer looks attractive though.

Acer together with Medion usually provides the most hardware/price. But don´t expect good built quality.

In other words, this game's code looks like it's written by 5 year old kiddo compared to how DICE did things with BF3.

Yes! It's Micky Mouse's Magical Buttrape House

What type of games you play is important.
I seriously doubt any 800 dollar laptop is gonna run BF4 properly, maybe at low settings... But I don't think any 800 dollar laptop will give you a pleasant experience.
My laptop -- an Acer 7741G-6426 -- was in the $800-900 range and it runs BF4 on low settings. Granted, it lags behind in the performance department and gets hot enough to keep food warm under, but it still works fairly well and I'm surprised that it even made it over the bar.
