@ToTheSun!

It was a blind test until the guy uploaded the statistics of A and B. Now the test results are worthless.

That's not very scientific.

And Reddit isn't very smart.

With this, I'll rid MGO3 of infestation. Sans bad gameplay MGO3 will be torn asunder. And then it shall be free. People will suffer, of course - a phantom pain.

Reddit and Konami will rewrite the records... And I will be demonized in human memory. But... The thirst for good gameplay that I have planted will infest MGO3. No one can stop it now. The Rebalance Mod will unleash that thirst unto the future.

Well the questioning was questionable itself, because I guess many people play CTE to compare it to live servers, and there is, at least for me, a difference. I mean there was not only a tickrate change, right? Also performance in BF4 is highly subjective assuming that most people who answer the question only play a couple of rounds and there are a lot of factors influencing the BF experience.

You mean in terms of the networking? Yeah they list improvements for servers and packet loss in Patch 1. But I honestly cannot feel a difference between CTE and Live except for smoother gameplay. Hitreg is still the same meaning it's fine.

Yeah that is what I mean, people go and play the CTE and say: "Wow this feels so responsive, now" Good job, DICE." So they have that positive feeling already and they get asked which group of servers works better. Then, as we know, the difference the tickrate has on gameplay is really small, as it only gives an advantage that you can feel in, once in 25 firefights or so, and with the amount of positive "fixed" gameplay it is quite hard to distinguish that one little difference.

To make dumbasses shut up.

Think of it this way--if people aren't complaining about netcode anymore (even if it's not changed) then DICE has time to focus on other things and listen to the far less vocal community that complains about things like visual recoil and balance tweaks. It may sound silly to us that they've shut up BUT in the long run it's good.

This post on CTE forums:

Quoted

One of the clear bugs with tanks at the moment is that its hitbox is inconsistent with itself. If a tank is hit on the back from a straight line it will properly register that the tank was hit on the back, but if the tank is hit in the same spot diagonally from a 45° angle it will not register as a hit to the tanks back. (Video proof soon™ to come) this is a problem with the hit registry everywhere on the tank. This bug appears to effect both the damage amount and whether or not the tank receives a mobility hit. This can be a frustrating bug that if removed would improve the quality of BF4.

Oh man, I don't know if I should laugh or cry or laugh at that whole exchange. Probably cry, because of how many players listen to xfactor.

The last post (by "bla363") is just gold: "[...] resulting in shots going in a > 90° angle round my target.". If your bullets actually go wide of your targets by more than 90° then you have astronomically bad aim (in fact, I'd be hesitant to even call it "aim") xD
