About LGA1150 mobos, a friend of mine recommended that if I go LGA1150 I should get a Z97 chip board. CPU, mobo and cooler solution recommendations wanted.

The 6600K is Z170, not Z97. If you get a 1150 motherboard, you'll have to buy something like a 4670K.

Whoops, didn't even realize the 6600k is 1151.

quick question: right-tilted finger grip with minimal pressure on base of the pinky finger(hypothenar), logitech g303 or g502?

EDIT: doesn't matter, g303 too pricey, going for a g502.

EDIT2:...or not? it seems to be an amazon offer that ends today, so i really don't know. what i know is that i actually don't have the money.

So I am upgrading and my limit for upgrades is about 550 euros.

AMD FX-8320, MSI GeForce GTX 960, Zalman Z5 - System Build - PCPartPicker España

The case and motherboard are what I already have and are there for compatibility check.

Comments?

Because of the price limit. I would have to buy a new motherboard.

Give me a recommendation on motherboard and cpu and if it does not go past 650 I might consider.

He already has the motherboard, it's better for him to spend that money on a GTX 960 than go for a new motherboard and settle for something like a 260x or 750ti. It'll still run most new games ultra 1080p with 60FPS, mostly older games that might struggle.

AMD is not terribad and good for budget setups. Hooooowever their Bulldozer/Piledriver CPUs are bit bad (lose to sandy bridge CPUs) and some claim it significantly helps with games to have intel cpu. Also AMD is releasing their next line of CPUs at some point which should have considerable better performance as they started from scratch and ditched the "moar cores nauw" thing.

  • Veritable - Scoring of BF4/BF1 firearms in terms of usability, firing and other mechanics.
  • Miffyli - Random statistical analysis of BF4 battlereports/players and kill-distances. (list is cluttered with other threads).
Sorry if your name wasn't on the list, I honestly can't recall all names : ( . Nudge me if you want to be included

AMD is particularly bad for Guild Wars 2.

I mean I have the money but I need it for other things too so optimal is not needed. Functionality is more important. Besides I suck at GW2 anyway so no ammount of performance will change that :D
