Just waiting on the SSD which is due tomorrow, then I can start building.

Meanwhile, i have a brand new SSD sitting in a drawer because i'm too lazy to install OS and programs.

Cue Alanis Morissette.

Teamwork is where players function by themselves, but their effectiveness is multiplied when they work together. Not a checklist of "did we bring a healer so we can start playing?"

Hardline is a fun and sometimes silly Cops and Robbers sorta thing and I think that's great. Or it would be if it didn't suck.

Yup. That black curved thing to the left of the Steelseries box is the case for my better one, though, and the black thing above the RAM cards is my guitar bag.

Build progress, day 1: rotated the I/O buttons so that they're on the top of the case (with the way my desk is set up having them on the left is simply not going to work), installed the motherboard, CPU and CPU cooler (which is massive), and hooked up some of the cables from the case. Just hope that the stuff I tightened isn't too tight and that accidentally dropping a screwdriver on the motherboard didn't damage anything.

Ouch! Should be fine, though. On the off chance it isn't, you can always RMA and claim it came like that :P

Ouchie indeed. If it weren't too heavy of a screwdriver and you only dropped it from low height you should be fine. -Somebody who has dropped the screwdriver wayyyyy too many times <.<...
Links to users' thread list who have made analytical/statistical/mathematical/cool posts on Symthic:
  • 3VerstsNorth - Analysis of game mechanics in BF4 (tickrates, effects of tickrate, etc)
  • leptis - Analysis of shotguns, recoil, recoil control and air drag.
  • Veritable - Scoring of BF4/BF1 firearms in terms of usability, firing and other mechanics.
  • Miffyli - Random statistical analysis of BF4 battlereports/players and kill-distances. (list is cluttered with other threads).
Sorry if your name wasn't on the list, I honestly can't recall all names : ( . Nudge me if you want to be included

low height: yeah somewhat. Butterfingered the damned thing while trying to get the CPU cooler's under-board rig screwed in. Not to heavy of a screw driver... :S Hopefully I didn't fuck anything up.
