Low, but I don't have a memory leak.

I was thinking about maybe borrowing a bit of extra money and get Radeon R9 290, but holy shit I don't want jet engine in my PC :D
AMD Radeon R9 290 4 GB Review | techPowerUp

The performance for the money is unreal, but the noise outweights it by far.

My total RAM usage was 9-10GB in BF4.
However, BF4 itself uses around 4GB.

Must be somehow related to graphic settings, because I never saw mine use more than 1,8GB.

I think it's finally at the point where I need to upgrade, probably everything. Can anyone tell me if a GTX 560 Ti is ok to keep for the moment? I bought it semi cheap maybe a year ago tops, when my old card died of old age.

And can someone tell me the basics about the latest CPU generations. I havn't been following those at all since I build this tower when quadcores were the latest thing.

I'm not trying to aim for all Ultra settings, I just want to stay competitive with the new console generation for as long as possible, since 90% of hardware intensive games are cross anyway.

Also I just realised new CPU generations are probably not supported by my motherboard... fuck me.

Trix, the dust still hasn't settled in this current GPU war. I suggest you wait a little more

Still need to upgrade my Motherboard, RAM, CPU. The GPU can wait, but I still want the other stuff out of the way. I got a list of parts from a magazine that I'll probably just buy.

Let's see..
Core i5 4670 Boxed
Asus H87-Plus
Kingston HyperX Blu (8,0 GB DDR3 Kit)

There's also a 55 soundcard which I might just as well get, since it saves CPU cycles.
Creative Soundblaster Recon 3D Bulk

Not sure if I can reuse my CPU fan? Are those socket specific?
