Well, I CAN hear it, but there's the side of my desk between me and my PC. And even then, it's hardly loud at all.

And as for why I don't want shit on top of my CPU? Well, my wiring job is pretty shitty due to space limits so my airflow isn't amazing to begin with. And besides, a little pump looks a hell of a lot better than a massive fuckoff metal block of fins with fans stuck to the sides.

PC master race!

Riesig ran his CPU passively cooled lel.
Although it wasn't OCed... But that's still impressive.

While were talking about noise: how bad is the noise of the WD Black?

Things people said

And reading Youtube comments still gives me Turbo Cancer.

It really is quite frustrating when Helen Keller sets up her LMG in the only doorway in/out of an area.

What kind of question is that? Since when is cheese ever a bad idea?

Hardline is a fun and sometimes silly Cops and Robbers sorta thing and I think that's great. Or it would be if it didn't suck.

Probably noisier since it's all about "PURRFURRMANCE?"

Seagate 7200.14 Mastur race

My loldown-draft cooler is actually good at getting heat away from my CPU, but I think it's inefficient at removing it from the fins.
But still, it's a failure of immense proportions and probably one of my worst purchases with regards to my PC

I was actually looking at that a bit, I'll go with the 7200.14 then.

I would go WD Black myself.
Or actually, I would get Samsung 840 Pro 256GB for system and games (yeah it's a SSD), and couple WD Reds 3TB for all the movies and pr0n.
