Teamwork is where players function by themselves, but their effectiveness is multiplied when they work together. Not a checklist of "did we bring a healer so we can start playing?"

Wait, Haswell is still using TIM? INTEL, WHY U NO SOLDER? Fuck it, sticking with Ivy. Where is my hammer? I'm about to delid this bitch.
I strongly encourage you to do it! Seriously. I consider myself so clumsy it's borderline unmeasurable, and I had mine delidded in, um, let me see...

Getting the black shit off is much more difficult than opening the thing, really. It won't melt, it won't go off (unless you use ghetto lazer I guess), you just gotta scratch it off by particles :D
Also, you really DO want to buy Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra. It's perfect "paste" to put under the IHS, because its thermal conductivity is superior to anything, and more importantly, it doesn't dry out at all (obviously, being a metal), so you don't ever need to reapply it.

My result under heavy load:

Hmm, 3DMark had a fit. Apparently, my CPU's core clock is 0MHz, I have no RAM installed, and my GPU's clocks are half what they actually are.

I'm not a fan of the razor method. Knowing me, I'll scratch it. Gonna use the hammer method.

@Rezal
despite the fuckups with 3D mark, I did see a physics number around 10K. Not sure if that's what you're looking for, though
