I need compressed air.

Except :

A. Canned variants are dumb
B. I don't have any air compressor / vacuum cleaner with a blower function.

Just make sure there is nothing loose in the case and use a vacuum cleaner on a lowish setting.

BTW, anyone have any experience with intel 520 series SSDs?

Pheo, a decent SSD should be adequate for recording, that's what I'm planning to do, after which I will transfer the data off the SSD onto my laptop for processing.

You have a vacuum cleaner, should have a brush head on it, or does it not?

Again: Metro Vacuum ED500 DataVac 500-Watt 0.75-HP Electric Duster 120-Volt - Amazon.com
It's like a hurricane in plastic casing.

@Gorbaz The Dragon
Was thinking of getting some 512gb Samsung 840s. That or 2tb Caviar Black drives.
Also regular vacuum cleaners could build up static in the case. So not recommended.

Actually never mind my vacuum comment. I though you meant using the vacuum itself to suck out the dust.

That's pathetic, my vacuum cleaner is 1800w :3

You do want to watch the write speed as far as the SSDs, many of the cheaper SSDs have write speeds that arent any better than HDDs. But, I am not sure as far as uncompressible data, most SSDs score surprisingly low at that.

But the 512gb 840 Pro has 520MB/s write, I get 110 MB/s on my raid 0 array of 2 500GB, that seemed to do it for DXtory at 1280x800, 30FPS. I doubt you'd need more than what the 840 Pro gives for even 1080p at 60 FPS.
