Dear Pheo

Sexy ass waterblocks does not exist. It's either you buy one capable of being attached to your liquid cooling, or you put up with a 40mm fan that spins at 3000rpm

These X79 boards must be a pain in the arse to design, you have to put the power delivery caps all along one side of the CPU, the RAM seems to take up half of the board, and you have to put up with people whining about the fan you put on the chipset...

IMO they should start moving some of the power delivery to the back of the board, if not all of it...

A motherboard should be extremely popular for it to have a 3rd party waterblock for its bridges / power circuits

It would get extremely popular if you could get them... (if it actually needed it)

Those tiny standoffs at the back are your limit.

They'd have to rethink ATX spacing then...

Doesn't the Haswell feature the power circuits inside?

Should you think the ATX needs a little revamping?

Even the promised BTX flopped despite being efficient at actually delivering priority fresh outside air directly to the CPU first

I once had such a tiny fan on an NF4 mainboard, "cooling" the chipset with no less than 7000 rpm. What piece of shit. The rough aluminum cooler and thermal stone (because fuck thermal paste) didn't make it easy for the fan though.

TLDR -
Teamwork is where players function by themselves, but their effectiveness is multiplied when they work together. Not a checklist of "did we bring a healer so we can start playing?"
