So a year ago, I made this post on r/pathofexile. I forgot about it. Today, I was looking through older posts trying to find a link and saw it again.

Path of Exile had a "pay $1000 to get a DivCard added to the game" initiative that a few people took them up on. All of the DivCards currently in-game came from supporters who bought it. I found mine.

Someone literally paid a thousand dollars to get my idea into the game--an idea which I made as an offhand remark and totally forgot about for a year.

It's fantastic when you're starting off a new character or a new league. Every time I play in a new league, I farm them for a few hours.

At endgame, you're swamped by Wisdoms and don't need more but earlygame it's probably the best card you can get.

I had the first iPhone and hated it so much that I've never gotten another smartphone of any sort.
The battery life is a massive factor for me. Battery technology has gone no-where but stuff that used batteries has. I have a small phone with a really good battery life, and an iPod Touch for the vast majority of the "Smart" features that I want (IE hotspot internet, music, notes, calendar, reminders, etc). For everything else I have a gaming PC. In short: Never wanted one, never needed one.

try an lg l9(i think that was the name?) and learn all the ways to not consume as much battery as a 12 year old kid, and you'll see your phone can last no less than 2 days, mine which is a moderately ccrappy old huawei phone lasts about 2 or 3 days, my tablet (asus memopad2012) even up to 4, and both of them with always-on wi-fi and email notifications.

then again, i don't really use them much, and the main use of the tablet is for youtube videos...
