3TB is very big, and when it goes bonkers, you have no backup-backup.

Good point but I didn't have much luck with partitions last time. I chooped my computer's 500G main drive into 320+180 then it later BSODed and the 180 disappered. I will back everything up on my 2TB External and get a USB 3.0 3TB externaler in Octob to back the whole system up.

After remembering how I wanted to maxmize the monitor budget by dropping the HDD entirely at the start plus I underestimated my budget for this project:


Update: Re-run the budget after 2 purchases and found I underestimated how much I had previously, now have funds to afford a 27" 120Hz after dropping the HDD(not needed short term).
