Ok own experience from playing BF3 on my laptop:

Well, the resolution is nothing compared to what you get on a normal PC. Itīs 1366x768 for me. But this resolution allows my laptop to run BF3 on mid-high settings with 40-50 fps. And itīs by far not a gaming latptop. Itīs meant for multimedia and an ACER 5820TG. Specs:

i5-480M

Radeon HD5650M and Intel 3000 series (Hybrid GPUs)

8 GB RAM (upgraded for 40 bucks)

The Hybrid GPUs allow for a total of 7-8 hours battery life.

To sum it up: "Mobile" gaming is a bad idea. Gaming on a laptop actually works quite well if you are not so concerned about resolution. And you donīt need a gaming laptop for 2k. I bought mine over a year ago for 850 €. It shouldnīt be a problem to find a laptop with similar perfomance for around 600 bucks. So go ahead and do it if you donīt need the full gaming performance a normal PC requires. And if you got enough spare money...

In other words, this game's code looks like it's written by 5 year old kiddo compared to how DICE did things with BF3.

Yes! It's Micky Mouse's Magical Buttrape House

Average game in BF3

Please give me money, I am designing a monitor, using its VESA mounts, to slap on a 6 inch thick slab of plastic...

TL;DR - HTPC form factor with kickass specs, directly ghetto slapped on a monitor of your choice.
That idea has been spinning on my mind for quite some time now

I have normal desktop graphic card connected to my convertible 13" Dell XT3 laptop/tablet and it's working fine.
