And yes, I did imply that metal is often a phase people go through between the age of 12 - 17. So what? That doesn't make it bad. Opeth are still one my favourite metal bands

Ok, i'm glad you made that distinction. And, yes, that DOES make it bad. Makes it sound like metal, as a whole, can only be liked by yet-to-be fully developed minds. While it may be true that some teenagers only like it because of its inherent heaviness, i include myself in a group that enjoys it because it can be sonically both intricate and aggressive (with emphasis on the former).

So, i always confront people who word that statement the way you did. I'm glad you're an Opeth fan. They can create musical textures in a way that no other band can. It's astonishing, really. And other great bands that fall under the metal genre are what attract me to it.

Maybe we can get Auto to like Opeth.

Nah, not at all. Young minds can like whatever they want. My first album was The Clash but unlike a lot of metal, it hasn't grown old on me. Metal is a bit samey sometimes.

I think Auto is more a progressive/noise-rock/indie electro kinda guy.

I like.

I'm just a sucker for rock bands with a bass singer.
That was literally the only video I could find

That lyrics <3

Under every stair and around every corner
Some shadows are lurking watch out let me warn ya
Please mind the steps it's a long way to fall
Can't you see the writing on the wall
In every hall and in every room
Another nightmare up here in the gloom
Come on if you dare
Come on up the stair
Stay just for a while
With me here on the tiles
Just for a moment so warm and so nice
You know that i'm mostly harmless
Let's drown in our eyes

So who is we
And who are you
Say can't you see
We do just
What we
Have to do

Come on in and spend an hour
Or two up here in the dark tower
Where there is nothing as it seems
Follow me to where hopes die
The realm of the black butterfly
I welcome you here in my dreams

Jenkins is now my hero.

I just thought I would make a joke

Incest is intriguing, due to the taboos placed upon it in our society. It can be a beautiful thing, and it should be explored more.

I think I'll go be gay.

re: Apokaliptische Reiter
When I first heard this song together with my room mate, we couldn't stop laughing.
Especially since this is the 10th song on the album (from 16), and then it's just this random as fuck intro.
