Well, I have been commenting on the music people have posted over the past half a dozen or so pages. Haha.

also to be fair, it may seem that viper's post is actually less relevant to the topic than yours, considering the first post in here...
but it's really minimal, both commetns are actually relevant to an extent, considering this is a generic thread(though not as generic as the random thread)

i on the other hand, have nothing of relevant to add to the discussion.

So is this the stereotype of Italian men in Europe?

The song is in English and sung by a Romanian singer I recently started listening to.

@ChineseToTheBone
i can't say, as i am italian.
i can't really grasp the perspective they have of them/us anyway... but in any case moustaches are considered dumb and pedophilistic in italy too, in fact i can't even remember last time i saw someone with a moustache here.

editingbecause i don't want to bother with a new post for something as stupid as this
so, after reading that thing about krolman, vviper and katyper in the "what made you smile today" thread i started thinking "but wait... now that i think about it, it's not like everyone only likes good stuff" there's stuff even the most precise of people will keep liking even though they don't actually consider(in this case) objectively good, i think the saying was something like "guilty pleasure"? i can't remember.
point is, what's your guys "stuff you know isn't exactly good but that you still enjoy listening?" for me i'd guess it's j-rock/pop music... generally anime openings, but more specifically 3 bands(+ other random albums from certain anime opening groups) which are nightmare(first non western band of which i heard an album or more, in fact, i actually listened to the first... 6 i think?) amazarashi(listened to all of them, though there's a discreet number of songs i don't enjoy and a good chunk that i always sing when all i can do is wasting time vocally) and noisycell(of which so far i heard only one album, but am going to listen to at least the second one as i realized only now that they've released more)
other mentions would be nico touches the walls, sid, uverworld and so on, but i usually only listen to their opening songs or singles(guess nico and sid are a bit of an exception too though, just a marginal one)

like, i know it's nothing specacular and definitely nothing memorable technically speaking... but i just like listening to their songs and singing, though i feel like all of those 3, at least for when i heard them the first time did have some peculiarity, for example nightmare did a decent job with pacing and song lenght in their 2 albums and collection "libido"(or is it livid?) "anima" and "gianizm" while also making a decent use of their basic instruments which feels like they took from the last band that played before they came into the studio for the registration of their first songs... cannot really say the same for the albums after those, but at least they(mostly) don't break ears.
amazarashi are... weird, i guess as weird as the anime with which i came to know them(ranpo kitan) they're really focused on lyrics and text, to the point that every live of them has the lyrics in gigantic graphic on the background, and you can kinda feel it... though i'll be honest and say that the only translated one i've read, i couldn't figure out at all, made possibly less sense than a De Crescenzo song.
lastly, noisycell.
i guess i just like them because thye bond pop and metal(screamo and heavy electric guitar) well in some of their songs and like the voice of the singer... i also just found out the lyrics of most of their songs are heavily centered around depressive topics(it's heavy "engrish" so i never bothered to atually understand the lyrics till now) and they're decent... but not really.
i just like them a bit more than others because they seem to care about album composition, variety and progression(your hands), something Nightmare also did with Anima.

The original trailers for the 3D CG anime film "Space Pirate Captain Harlock" from back in 2013 have been completely removed from YouTube for some reason it seems, but I still remember how good the choice of background music for them was.

I'm sorry, but I think I lasted about 30 seconds before turning that music off :|

This is one of the pieces I'm studying right now.

Whilst I do like some parts of it, such as the soundscapes and the Allegro at 4:20, there are a lot horrendously cliche parts in it (4:06 "Then Rise" is a perfect example). The text has also been terribly set to the music,; it seems like the words are just placed there, without the music really augmenting the meaning (or vice versa).

I overall don't mind it, but there really are a lot of terrible parts to it.

Also, ignore the absolutely terrible performance, where they somehow managed to end up in the wrong key at the end.

How to ice an A-91

Next, wanna try adding a guy that you KNOW is bad, and just testing to see that? Example: PP-2000 (god I so wanna love this gun, and yet...)

Example: PP-2000 (god I so wanna love this gun, and yet...)

PP-2000 added. Y'know, it's not that bad....

Yes, it comes in last so far, but that is mostly because I'm making it shoot at 100m ADS - Not Moving as one of the criteria. Even then, between 50-100m Not Moving, when you include Useability, it is only 1.37% worse than the MTAR-21. Within 50m then it even beats the A-91.

Have a look, vs. the A-91 Carbine:

Using it with Muzzle Brake and Compensator is a wash in terms of overall performance. Comp is SLIGHTLY more accurate, while MB is SLIGHTLY more easy to use. Their overall scores are basically tied, with MB just ahead. I guess either can be recommended.

But... You can't be counting for the fact that it takes 9 bullets to kill at "long" range... Don't you dare tell me my A-91 is worse than a 9 BTK 650 RPM mediocre PDW.

Also. Just go heavy barrel. The recoil is low enough.

Well, technically...

Comparing a PP2K with HB and an A-91 with comp and stubby (as you suggested in an earlier post), at 50m not moving, the A-91 is only better by 4 damage per hitrate. While at 75m and 100m, surprisingly the PP2K does better than the A-91 (I'm pretty damn surprised as well).

And 10m and 50m moving the PP2K also does more damage per hitrate than the A-91. At 25m the A-91 is only better by about half a bullet's damage as well.

In addition, the PP2K has a much larger mag size and substantially less recoil. And it looks hella awesome. So comparing the A-91 to a PDW is of some worth after all, as the PP2K is better (technically, not practically) than the A-91.

Mind blown.

I... I...

*cries in a corner*

Zer0Cod3x explained it very well. If you look at the raw numbers right here on Symthic Comparison, you can see how that happened:

A-91 vs PP-2000 | BF4 Weapon Comparison | Symthic

A-91's "23%" RPM advantage only afforded it 1 extra round.

Reload times are wash.

Velocities are wash.

V-Recoil are wash (and this is HBar on PP2k vs. A-91 without).

Hipfire and ADS - Moving are better on the PP2k, but it's a PDW and not the surprising part.

The surprising part is that, as equipped (and we see above that PP2k HBar has almost same V-Recoil as A-91 without HBar so why not?), the PDW performs better at 50 - 100m than a bloody Carbine. Why?

H-Recoil Spread, 0.525 vs. 0.45, advantage PP2k.

SIPS, 42% better on the PP2k.

And here is the most important part. ADS - Not Moving Spread, 0.35 vs. 0.2, 43% improvement.

Without HBar then of course the PP2k loses, which is why when I add all the attachments together for an Overall Ranking, it would slot below the A-91. Run HBar on it, though, then... I'm sorry

To be honest i never heard something like that(an orchestra replaced entirely by voices?) so i don't see all those clichès you're referring to.

That was the first time I have ever seen this kind of choral performance outside of church recitals in movies.

i don't see all those clichès you're referring to.

As I said, at 4:20.

Text: "Then rise."
Music: Melody rises in pitch, gets louder, builds in texture.

Makes me cringe so hard.

Also, the chord progressions are very cliche in general, really not inventive at all. A lot of voice leading, very functional harmonies, etc (not that you'd have any idea what that is :D ).

How have you guys never heard a choir before

In my case, I suppose not unfortunately. Since I am not religious, I have only heard church choir performances in forms of entertainment. Outside of those, the sole occasion where I saw any choir in a media not related to church was in "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" for a Christmas recital at Kevin's school.
