So shuffle reminded me that this band exists today :)

Meet Whispered. Who are Whispered? I can summarise them quite simply in 2 words: Samurai Metal. Fucking awesome

Song currently stuck in my head is: Red Cold River by Breaking Benjamin!

Meet Whispered.

You should try Persefone's third album, Shin-Ken. Some people are not big on their vocals, but the musical landscape they painted with this release is akin to Whispered's, i feel.

I know one led me to the other (Persefone and Whispered), but i can't recall which one did the other.

Wow, they're pretty good! Awesome! :D
I do see what you mean though. The vocals seem very varied, they're great in some parts and a bit meh in others although that'll probably just be me getting used to their style. As for the musical landscape, I don't think I've listened to enough to say for sure how similar it is to Whispered but I will say this, its fan-fucking-tastic regardless!!!

This warrants a closer look ;)
Thanks again, Sun!

Which reminds me, you ever heard Sangre Eterna? They just popped into my head again, right this second :P

No, i haven't. I just skimmed the album. They have some interesting riffs and synth work.

I always forget about Mirror's Edge.

The only reason I still have faith in DICE's sound design.
