So do I read that correctly, that medic is the least played class timewise, while the account for the same number of kills as recon? That is indeed surprising considering how easy the medic weapons are to use, and that my own performance is only slightly worse than with the other classes. The kill distribution is vaster than expected.

Is there a possibility to do snapshots of certain periods of class distribution, as I gather this is a total since release? Like, to show medic kit usage went down by 5% over from November to December.

Ah and one thing, since you already colour coded the different weapon classes, it would be good to sort them especially with the kpm, so that people could see how much better the STG 1-5 compares to, say, the MP34.

Edit: Have you come to any conclusions regarding this data? Would you say the dataset is big enough so that you can analyze them and have a decent representation of the game?

Yes, the medic class has been played, in total, slightly less than recon, but has accrued, in total, slightly more kills.

Medic is the fastest-scoring infantry class (tanker beats the shit out of it):

This is absolutely possible, but I'm not committed to doing it. It's a lot of recordkeeping. When I gather data in the future, I will make an effort to use fresh databases, so we can still have the historical data and compare them, but looking at incremental data will be difficult.

Man, it practically took human sacrifice to get the boxplots grouped and colored coherently as it is. I'll see if I can figure this out.

I am completely confident that I can say statistically significant things about the playerbase with this much data. I promise that I'll get to some actual analysis in a future post!

I think "headshots" are headshot-kills and not headshot-hits.
