do we know what effect the low drag rounds/faster bullet perks have on projectiles?

do we know what effect the low drag rounds/faster bullet perks have on projectiles? for example, krag or kar have 0.0025 drag with 700m/s muzzle velocity. what does choosing the righthand side skill tree do?

If you hover over drag of Kar in raw dump stats, you see the attachment more than halves the drag. You can use this calculator or pmax's results to get a hint how much this change affects the bullet's flight.
