Suppression values for LMGs

It seems that the BF4 weapon stats miss this feature from BF3.

Does anyone know what the suppression value per bullet is for the different weapons, and in particular what the values are for LMGs vs. GPMGs?

You can check for yourself here: http://teamsymthic.com/element/CTE%20Fil…/Common/Bullets

Look for "WeaponSuppressionData", it is a function of distance like damage, with two points, constant outside and linear interpolation between them.

As for LMGs:

Passive Spotting is the future!

With this, I'll rid MGO3 of infestation. Sans bad gameplay MGO3 will be torn asunder. And then it shall be free. People will suffer, of course - a phantom pain.

Reddit and Konami will rewrite the records... And I will be demonized in human memory. But... The thirst for good gameplay that I have planted will infest MGO3. No one can stop it now. The Rebalance Mod will unleash that thirst unto the future.

Thanks.

But oh well, that's a shame. I would have thought the 7.62 LMGs would have increased suppression (as they did in BF3). This just reinforces the 200-round LMGs' status as the premier suppression machines.

Not that it would matter anyways since suppression only causes your gun to get funky in BF4 :(

And stops your health from regen ;)

Yeah I know it doesn't do much, unfortunately.

Still, the 200-round LMGs were already ahead in the department of 'actual' suppression (where players won't peek because they're afraid of getting shot) as they simply had more bullets at their disposal. I was hoping that the heavy MGs would at least be able to keep up in terms of 'sway suppression' but apparently not.

That needs to be addressed then, giving 7.62 lmgs 15.0-20.0 of suppression sounds about right

It's fairly enough to prevent you from hitting completely though. Everytime I get suppressed I cannot get a single hit in, and am dead before I even manage to make the fucking crosshair move where I want it.
Interestingly, it doesn't seem to work the other way around. People almost always instakill me even though I suppress the fuck out of them, and that's when spraying them with PKP. The game is seriously broken.

Yeah I know what you mean. Suppression is fucking all over the place at the minute! The 'jiggle' can usually be fought against quite effectively and it doesn't do shit versus BAR and DMR so that's basically useless. On the other hand you have the inhibition of health regen that starts at the lowest level of suppression which is fucking ludicrous, especially when combined with the worthless 'jiggle'…
