Questions about vehicle data accuracy

I've been using this site for years, and I really appreciate the hard work and dedication that you guys put into it. Thanks.

I was looking at the BF4 vehicle page, and I noticed that it says the stats are not always correct... could someone please tell me which ones are incorrect? There's really no way you guys could answer my questions without telling me which ones are inaccurate, as I want all the data I can get so I can determine what is best for each and every situation. Most of it seems pretty accurate, however there's also quite a few that surprised me with what their current values are set to. I'd like to know specifically which ones are correct and which ones aren't, and as detailed as possible please. Thanks!

Vehicle stats are horribly outdated and misinterpreted.

Do not use any of them until they have been cleaned up.

Passive Spotting is the future!

With this, I'll rid MGO3 of infestation. Sans bad gameplay MGO3 will be torn asunder. And then it shall be free. People will suffer, of course - a phantom pain.

Reddit and Konami will rewrite the records... And I will be demonized in human memory. But... The thirst for good gameplay that I have planted will infest MGO3. No one can stop it now. The Rebalance Mod will unleash that thirst unto the future.

Sorry, I assumed a few of them were still accurate, so a dedicated post to my request was necessary. I usually do search for stuff if I think it can be found though. My apologies.

The correct stats.

This is the Data File Browser in the Vehicles>Common>Weapon Data> section. This is where information from the 'BF4 Stats' page is derived from. If you have time to spare, I'd recommend checking it out. Once you get the hang of the patterns of where certain information is located, it will become a valuable resource to whatever questions you might have. elementofprgress is one of our code gurus. To Aim Assist or not to Aim Assist, that is the question.

Nope. Aim Assist or bust; here's why:

Thanks guys, I didn't think it'd be this easy to read it's code... after all, the game was made in C++...

That's because this isn't actually the game code. These are configuration files which aren't in C++. They contain important game data, but no logic code.
