I realize we have no stats yet, but for those of you who have logged a few hours with each of the engineer primary weapons, which feels the most deadly?

well, i guess only the p90 is a pdw, the other ones are carbines (per bf4 definition), as its the only one of the 3 weapons which cannot equip a grip.

my favourite one to use is the p90, but the uzi is the best i think at most ranges on high tension (for no specific reason, tbh). tzhe ump though is the only potent one at higher ranges, so it may be stronger.

Several PDWs in Bf4 had access to grips... Examples include the Mx4, UMPs, and the SR-2 (though the vertical grip is mandatory). The current theory on the rest is that they have built in ergo/vertical grips. No proof, but it seems so.

I don't have Hardline Beta, but I can say from the stats that the UMP is the easiest to use (lowest recoil, low RPM, high damage), but that stupidly bad drop off hurts it. The P90 (because 1.0 h recoil and 21 max dmg) is probably the worst, and the UZI (despite .9 h recoil) is probably the best (amazing drop off plus amazing damage = love).
I buffed DMR velocity.
QBU is only weapon in my heart. That and the M1911.

PS: I am the pinnacle of maturity.

Even the PDWs without Grips had a built-in Ergo Grip.
To Aim Assist or not to Aim Assist, that is the question.

Nope. Aim Assist or bust; here's why:

P90

Damage: 21-11.2

Spread: 0.4 min, 0.11 inc

Recoil: 0.25 V, 0.5 L, 0.5 R

Looks like AP Round PDWs will continue to suck. When will Dice (Visceral) learn to give them a higher end damage than the 9mms?

UZI

Damage: 33-15

Dropoff: 25-60

ROF: 600

Spread: 0.4 min, 0.091 inc

Recoil: 0.29 V, 0.45 L, 0.45 R

Sooo... UZI is probably the best, because dat dropoff start.

Whoa. What round is the uzi shooting?

I'm beginning to think that the weapons in the beta that were in BF4 came directly from BF4 with no modification, where as new weapons like the Uzi and AKM are exhibiting the new damage models that Hardline will use. Hopefully none of the PDW's in the final game will need more than 8 bullets to kill at range.

That sums up my experiences, I have 300 kills with the UZI and it feels just like a carbine or AR really. The P90 and UMP however really seemed underpowered by these standards. They should nerf the UZI and drastically buff the other PDWs. We do not want another PDW desaster in BFH.
