The World Champion has been let down with this hotwire footage. what was once alluded to be a high speed chase seems to be a loopy shitnado on 3 city blocks.

one word to describe it from now on. Shitwired.
You have just read a Post by The World Champion and now feel smarter for doing so.

You already said that last time and its still BS. He aims way too far to the left and not the middle of the screen...

He is though, just depends on your view perspective... The barrel is pointing straight for the middle like, 20 meters away or so...

The animation of runing and sprinting is still wonky and out of sync...I thought they would have fixed that by now.

I am not thrilled by the Hotwire mode, I mean the big problem is that when you want to PTFO you will have to drive a vehicle. An unarmed vehicle. And we all know how fun it is to drive an Amtrac or an MRAP not getting any kills but get killed frequently. It is only fun if you are a passenger and can shoot around. Same, but not so much, for the guys driving the car that is chaisng the flags.

And to add to that we have in HArdline totally unrealistic gadgets that will blow apart any car. As the shown map is rather a block of streets, imagine all the engineers jsut waiting with their RPGs for the flags to come by...

My guess is, that this mode will not wirk simply because of the players, it is too easy to spoil the fun for everyone or create a boring stalemate, while actually PTOing is unrewarding and likely not a whole lot of fun either.

It already was said that vehicles dont explode as easy as in the beta anymore. Plus the engineer has no RPGs in his loadout. To get an RPG you have to enter a car and get it out of the trunk. There were a lot of changes from the beta.

iirc it was a nade launcher and a trap mine that you can attach to vehicles and that will explode when an enemy enters the vehicle.
