GOL is better than the M40, it doesn't looks or sounds as good as the the second one

lol,i seriously can't see your tastes in rifles... looking on at the stock? i mean, not that the gol has a bad stock, but i seriosuly can't see anything ugly in the gol,it has everything in the right place with the right aesthetics,
Well.. the magnum is so thin and, combining with its sound, it just doesn't feels intimidating to me. The M40A5, on the other hand, has those cool tapes around it like it's an extra customization. It would look even better with some scratches on it and/or signs of use

the thinner on the end,te more "spear-looking" it is,same goes for something like a ppsg-1... when i speak of aesthetics,i'm speaking of beuty, elegance and "power feel" just the feel of "itimidation" can't be enough... if not, barret and aks would be the winners always,no?

Yes but, in my eyes, an "elegant" weapon it's like an UFC champion with Justin Bieber's face, it doesn't fit

You mean the ak platform? If yes > of course an AK47 will always be the winner, if it was in game i wouldn't use any other rifle, coz' cs nostalgia

I have used the M40 till I unlocked the M98B, then switched to the SRR-61 for the recon veteran assignment. That assignment is a pain in the ass on console... After all the time I spent unlocking the FY-JS I wanted to make it my main weapon out of sheer principle, but the more I use it my enthusiasm dies.. But I may stick with it for hipster points

why?i remember that when playing bf3 on ps3 it wasn't that hard... actually for me,it was easier to headshot people on console than on pc.

339 - SRR-61 (Favorite in terms of ease of use and aesthetics. I use it when I'm 'passive sniping' Plus the movie Shooter  )
286- Gol Magnum (Favorite versatile sniper for more 'aggressive sniping'. The ROF and decent muzzle velocity is good. Plus was my 2nd fav in BFBC2 after the M24)
190- L96A1 (Stopped using in because the Gol Magnum outclasses it ;( I used to use it as my versatile sniper. It's aesthetically pleasing as well.)
132- M40A5 (Stopped using, again because the Gol Magnum outclasses it in ROF and Muzzle Velocity. I ran a suppressor on the M40A5...fun times)

Dabbled a bit with the M98B (68kills) because of the magazine size... However currently I don't think it's worth the trade off for the ease of use of the 6m/s of the SRR-61. I dunno though I'm still debating this rifle.

Best gun to run suppressed is the SRR-61 IMHO. The lower bullet drop does wonders for using a suppressor. That's my stealth bolt action of choice.

Outside of that, M98B for long range / moving targets. GOL for aggressive <200m. For LONG range, I like the .338 recon, even though that's kinda ass backwards I guess. I just have such good dope on that rifle with the 20x scope. I find that each line on the 20x represents EXACTLY 100m. Totally unnecessary to zero with that rifle.
