I tried out the Jdams... Surprisingly bad while just flying over enemies in a straight line. However, while dive bombing they are surprisingly good. I usually head up to around 800m~ or so, launch them at 400m, hit them with the main cannon for a little more then pull out. I got a double tank kill on Golmud with this strategy.

My only issue is the difficulty in using Jdams while flying straight. Too high and the Jdams take to long to reach a stationary target. Too low and it's too difficult to aim. What do you think about Jdams? (I find rocket pods redundant, the main gun does a better job anyways).

I'd like to go on record by saying I like you already :)

To those having trouble using the JDAM effectively, try using it immediately after a gun run as you fly close over your target. I have found great success dumping a JDAM to splash kill weakened targets, and on the occasion that I direct hit it absolutely crushes tanks with its 50% damage.

Since the patch I have also found that it is fairly effective dumping both bombs on clusters of infantry from a moderate altitude (not as low as after a gun run, but still within lock-on range of anti-air). Unlike in my vehicle passes I find that both must be utilized to get kills on infantry that you splash.

Another tip: slowing down your jet makes aiming MUCH easier. And try doing a gun run after launching the Jdams, it gives less warning.

The World Champion tried out the JDAM again. The Champion of The World has much experience with dropping bombs from back in the days of 1942,43,Vietnam,etc and it did feel better than it did before. Got 5 kills with the 2nd bomb dropped + more multikills on infantry when before it was usually just 1.

That said not a big fan of the camera you have use when you drop them. Where you are actually aiming can be all over the place. Should kill a tank in 1 hit or at least knock it down to 25% health.

If it was up to The World Champion friendlies would be able to designate targets and the bomb would guide itself(like a real JDAM who'da thunk it) but what can you do when people think Teamwork is OP.

I personally love the jdams. They take more skill to use, but are more powerful than other options (100 dmg to armor with two direct hits), no need to maintain lock, can be quickly deployed after a strafe, and are absolutely ridiculous against big groups of infantry as well.

The only option for attack jets if you actually want to help your guys on the ground break through and cap a base imho.

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho
