That's a very roundabout way of saying "The Type 88" :P

You misspelled "UMP-45" there.

Sorry, I can't read what you wrote. Was it the M420BLAZEIT by any chance?

You foreigners sure have weird nicknames for the Type-95B-1

Assault Class, barring the "weird" AN-94 and SAR-21:

AUG A3

Or, close behind, the "you really can't screw this gun up"....

AR160

Harder to use but definitely does DAMAGE....

SCAR-H

-----

Carbines:

Ak5C

Again, harder to use but might be worth it due to DAMAGE....

ACE 52 CQB

-----

DMRs, again barring the "weird" ones like QBU-88 and SKS:

M39 EMR

-----

PDWs:

UMP-45

-----

Support:

Support LMGs have drastically different categories, so I got 3 suggestions. "Best overall" appears to be....

QBB-95

...but this slightly harder-to-use but more damaging gun is close behind....

RPK

On the box-fed front, there really is no contest....

Type-88

While Veritable's analysis is overall correct, your mileage may vary depending on how you want to play, and how much practice you want to invest into a gun.

"The best" guns overall in his analysis are not the best in all situations, but overall pretty good in a multitude of situations. So for your general "average gameplay" where you go in just doing your thing, mixing it up a little with ranges and engagements, the lists are pretty much spot on. If you want to go CQC only, for example (e.g. Zavod inside the buildings, Wave Breaker in the sub hangar's side areas), you'll suddenly find that the "top scorer" weapons are at a disadvantage to more specialized close quarter implements.

Same applies, of course, to playing around the outside and engaging enemies at longer ranges than usual.
Zormau - Battlelog / Battlefield 4

Memorable quotes not taken yet:

Of course, this ignores the non-constant cross-sectional first moment of area across the chest as well as non-constant material properties of the boob; it would be difficult to perform a more detailed analysis (as in, I'd have to have a shape function AND I'd need to derive a function for elastic modulus as a function of lateral breast coordinate) but whatever. It's 2am and I'm lazy.

I always believed science should be very hands on experience.

You should also answer this question I had posed in that thread: Would you be willing to pay your surgeon more if he was going to use a chainsaw for the opening incision of surgery? Clearly using a chainsaw isn't truly suited for surgery but that doesn't really matter. If he's "skilled" enough to be able to use the wrong tools of the trade, he should be rewarded for that skill right?

...what? This comment is too small on my 2560p work monitor. You're gonna have to write it bigger

:P

In all seriousness, I just did that, and it actually looks better. Thanks for the nudge.

Well while I did suggest the Type-88 I have to admit that with a bipod the higher ROF weapons like the M249/ MG4 and AWS are absurdly good too so I wouldn't say its no contest.

I have to agree with Veritable about the UMP-45. It has the insane cqb damage of a high rof gun but the low recoil and accuracy of a low ROF gun. While it has bad drop-off and velocity it is still much easier to hit with a mid range than the high ROF PDWs. So while it might take a few more shots to get the kill, you still have a better chance than with something like the P90 that shoots all over the damn place.

What would be the best on 30Hz environment, Veritable?
