Hey Axie, how about carrying out these tests on your own system. It's very easy .. all you need is a microphone and audio waveform software (like Audacity, it's free) to view the waveform and take the measurements.

- Turn on your speakers.

- Start recording with your mic.

- Load up BF4/Windows. Click your mouse next to the microphone.

- The Windows sound/Gun will fire.

- View audio waveform and measure audio delay from mouse click to gun shot.

Post you result, it's that simple.

Unfortunately no, I can't. My game, among other, is deleted for the moment. Work asks for sacrifices.

No, I move games to external HDD when I get overloaded with work.

It is hard for me to keep discipline and not go ~just one more round~ and being freelancer whole my life doesn't help either.

45 to 70 ms for me. Pretty much as expected. This is on Windows 10 with a USB DAC.

Teamwork is where players function by themselves, but their effectiveness is multiplied when they work together. Not a checklist of "did we bring a healer so we can start playing?"

USB DAC's have latency Issues. Thats why we do not use them in PRO Audio.

I have firewire Pro interface and I was forced to stop using it with BF4 because it had been loosing connection so frequently with the game program.
Windows drivers do sucks.

used to be #3 in the World in RAWR Kills:)

Is this windows only latency, or in game ?
