On a side note: Yay for DMR FSM buffs! I can enjoy my SCAR-H SV even more :D
The changes are to make stats easier to read, overall vertical recoil is the same (with the small bonus that if you happen to fire a DMR at max RPM you will now have consistent recoil).

Take the MK11 for example: total Vrec is the same as before (0.5*2 = 1*1 = 1).

DMRs have however gotten a small usability buff thanks to the increased recoil decrease, which makes follow up shots easier.

Notice that their vertical recoil has been doubled, so the recoil remains the same (since every shot is a first shot).

The Angled grip provides the same reduction though: 1 x 2xrecoil x 0.66 = 2 x 1xrecoil x 0.66. Changing the order of the factors does not change the product.

I've been trying the shotguns in the new Test Range. I'm using the Hawk 12G with full choke and I'm getting 2-hit kills out to 40 meters! Were shotguns EVER this accurate?

I still wonder what spread decrease means for the average user.

With the values we now have it determines the effective rate of fire for long ranges. You will need to take longer breaks between bursts for spread to settle instead of the instant microbursts we have grown so accustomed to.

at first i was annoyed reading this (ARS drop off start out to 12m now but lmgs are presumably still at 8m? wtf?) but then i noticed they seem to have massively improved my type 88's muzzle velocity from 600 (average) to 670 (one of the highest in the game i think) and the qbz95b also goes from 540 to 580, thus making it better for its intended role. very happy to see this.

they seem to have slightly increased alot of reload times now too for some reason. type 88 7 second reload up to 7.3? THAT'S IT, BATTLEFIELD IS RUINED NOW X(

By the way, will they ever update the Battlelog text descriptions? The stats are so different that the item texts are now flat-out lies.
