Both M4 and M16 were feeling superb, earlier, even though the change isn't massively significant.

I guess that's the power of placebo!

I'll need to give the G36 a go. I think all of the carbines have difficulty standing up to the versatility of the AK5C, though...

m4/m16a4 still has too much recoil to the right, and too high of a FSM(TSM).

if you are playing support, there basically no reason to use the m4, as the AWS is just as accurate and has arguably lower vertical recoil, with just a tad more horizontal recoil. i guess supports shouldnt be using anything but an lmg or a dmr anyways though, right? (dmr, because if you also run xm25 dart for close range, you have the ultimate setup. the xm25 has night vision to help find targets, AND a range finder to zero in your dmr, and its an absolute beast in cqc)

compensator will do almost nothing for the AK-12, because the total horizontal recoil is so low to start with, in fact the 3rd may be even less accurate than without the comp
HB is much better, it will greatly extend your effective range

or did you mean the M16A4, then comp is a very solid option of course

As a main hater on this forum, I say no, it's not worth it.
I have been playing Battlefield since 1942 (the original PC game, not the year).
now I'd jerk off a hobo
With a compensator and angled grip I click people to death like I was playing diablo.
AKU-12 stomps it in the nuts and posts the video to WorldStarHipHop.

That motherfucking piece of shit has killed me so fucking much on Battlefield today I've moved it to the "Things I hate" bin along with its OP BF3 pre-patch counterpart X(

May have a play around with the M16A4/M4, I like the idea of a burst fire weapon but my previous attempts at using either have resulted in failure :(

G36C doesn't feel terribly different. M16 and M4 are now my go to guns. That recoil reduction helps immensely. Coupled with compensator and you've got a hell of a gun.

Probably because of the high amount of visual recoil. Try using it with irons/x4 optics.
