Is there any chance of having the real moving spreads in the weapon charts (two values per weapon: forward and strafing/backward) and real moving spread calculation on the fly in the advanced weapon comparison (factoring in attachment bonuses)?

btw are we really sure we should not use different movemin values for bullpups? I've put in all the new changes (with one movemin value per class) and the bullpups (75%) always come out worse, isn't this what these value changes were supposed to change?

or did DICE just chose it arbitrarily?
It improved PDWs and Carbines' bullpup attachment performance, I assume that previously it wasn't as good as with AR's and LMG's due to the increase in PDW/Carbines' already higher standing spread while decreasing their lower moving spread. I'm not sure how they got the number but my guess is that Dice does not play dice (at least not when re-balancing things)...

Comparing a non-bullpup PDW with a bullpup:

Non-bullpup - 0.4 stationary and 0.475 moving
Old bullpup - 0.5 stationary and 0.528125 moving
New bullpup - 0.45 stationary and 0.485156 moving

Just slightly worse at ADS while still having significantly better hipfire.

Unless I'm messing up something here, I used 0.75 speed mod for all PDW's:

bullpupPDW = ((0.6 - (0.4 * 1.125)) * 0.625 * 0.5 * 0.75 * 1.0) + (0.4 * 1.125) = 0.485156
nonBullpup = ((0.6 - (0.4 * 1.0)) * 1.0 * 0.5 * 0.75 * 1.0) + (0.4 * 1.0) = 0.475

where 0.75 * 1.0 is the fastMoveADS speed * standing+forward movement speed mod.

my guess is that Dice does not play dice
hehe fair point, well I just wondered if it's from some ration from some other numbers in the file

Non-bullpup - 0.4 stationary and 0.475 moving
Old bullpup - 0.5 stationary and 0.528125 moving
New bullpup - 0.45 stationary and 0.485156 moving
meh I wanted bullpups to have better moving accuracy than non-bullpups and 0.04 improvement is a little too little imho ^^
but if that's what it is, it is what it is

ok updated now taking into account all the changes discuss

I put up the numbers side by side to see how big the effects of the changes are

HB+E: increased moving spread, between 8% and 20% for all non-bullpup ARs, belt-fed LMGs and non-bullpup carbines.

ARs: The HB nerf has a sizeable effect here, if you used HB + Angled previously, you now have to deal with 0.381 strafing spread instead of 0.326. I guess that kinda hurts

Carbine: bullpups slight buff of 6% for ergo only and naked but otherwise no big changes (apart from HB)

PDW: moving spread improved across the board as expected, e.g. strafing spread (naked) reduced by up to 21% from 0.700 to 0.550

LMGs: my personal favourite. about a 20% reduction when usinug naked or with ergo
