Just thought I'd bring this back up, but the DBV-12 has slower movement speed while aiming:

I only recorded it with iron sights and against the M870 MCS, but it's the same across all optics. Dunno why it's doing that.

I fell under the map on Firestorm after I was revived in a game of TDM. Never had anything like that happen before, and no idea how to reproduce it. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

The impulse from IFV's APFSDS shell's on transport helicopters is ridiculously high, two hits to the side usually make it roll >45° degrees.

-The RPK-74M, L96A1, M60E4, and Scout Elite shoot higher than their aimpoint when using the kobra sight.

I don't have both the laser sight and the Kobra unlocked for any of those other weapons, but having just played a gigantic round using mainly the RPK-74M with the Kobra and not having felt any sort of misalignment, I decided to check this out:

Verdict: Nope, just fine. It's difficult to see because I made the image smaller, but the green dot is right where it should be, and that's where the bullets go. This particular problem appears to have been fixed (for this weapon, at least).

The bug with this weapon that I have noticed, however, is that it doesn't shoot straight with the bipod deployed; the aim point is noticeably above (and maybe a hair to the right) of where it should be, which really fucks with its ability to be the long-range tap-fire monster its stats say it should be. This has been a bug for five updates now.

Aimed normally:

Bipod deployed:

None of the other machine guns seem to have this problem. I would have noticed.

JackFrags finds out why some projectiles seem to not do damage.

It appears that revivable bodies act as a shield. JF believes the body's hitbox remains in an upright position so projectiles will still hit it.

People whining about how no one's ever noticed this. Well anon, if 1 million players didn't notice, what makes you think the ~100 ish people at DICE would have?

Passive Spotting is the future!

With this, I'll rid MGO3 of infestation. Sans bad gameplay MGO3 will be torn asunder. And then it shall be free. People will suffer, of course - a phantom pain.

Reddit and Konami will rewrite the records... And I will be demonized in human memory. But... The thirst for good gameplay that I have planted will infest MGO3. No one can stop it now. The Rebalance Mod will unleash that thirst unto the future.

What kind of question is that? Since when is cheese ever a bad idea?

Hardline is a fun and sometimes silly Cops and Robbers sorta thing and I think that's great. Or it would be if it didn't suck.

revive and peek bug?

Hi-
Did a search on this thread for revive and didn't see anyone else have a revive bug with peek... I've had instances where I'm peeking over an obstacle to shoot (using ADS) and if I die and get revived, I can no longer peek over any more until I respawn. This happens to me in Metro, but I have not had a chance to test it out on other maps.

This probably explains a lot of the diffuse "hitreg" issues that people have been complaining about ever since the beta. I hope it's something DICE can and will fix.

Quite frankly, I think it's something they can't afford to ignore...

Memorable quotes not taken yet:

Of course, this ignores the non-constant cross-sectional first moment of area across the chest as well as non-constant material properties of the boob; it would be difficult to perform a more detailed analysis (as in, I'd have to have a shape function AND I'd need to derive a function for elastic modulus as a function of lateral breast coordinate) but whatever. It's 2am and I'm lazy.

I always believed science should be very hands on experience.

You should also answer this question I had posed in that thread: Would you be willing to pay your surgeon more if he was going to use a chainsaw for the opening incision of surgery? Clearly using a chainsaw isn't truly suited for surgery but that doesn't really matter. If he's "skilled" enough to be able to use the wrong tools of the trade, he should be rewarded for that skill right?
