I just got reminded of something actually...

What about some accuracy plots for the SR338 too, just out of curiosity? Since its a Sniper Rifle, it doesn't have any Accuracy Plots.

Should I create a new thread for that though so others can find it if they're interested?

Eeeh will see if I can be bothered to redo steps I did for one gun :v. I still haven't done BFH update yet altho by the looks of it nothing changed there.

In general SR338 has similar spread/recoil with DMRs, except quite a bit lower (eg. 0.1 SIPS vs. 0.2). Also it kicks bit to right.
Links to users' thread list who have made analytical/statistical/mathematical/cool posts on Symthic:
  • 3VerstsNorth - Analysis of game mechanics in BF4 (tickrates, effects of tickrate, etc)
  • leptis - Analysis of shotguns, recoil, recoil control and air drag.
  • Veritable - Scoring of BF4/BF1 firearms in terms of usability, firing and other mechanics.
  • Miffyli - Random statistical analysis of BF4 battlereports/players and kill-distances. (list is cluttered with other threads).
Sorry if your name wasn't on the list, I honestly can't recall all names : ( . Nudge me if you want to be included

I hope its not too much to ask for.

I'm interested in it primarily because, unlike the DMR's, you can actually put a long range sniper scope on it. To me, that makes it an interesting weapon worth checking out closer.

Awesome slug charts

Muzzle brake is less viable than I thought! Compensator more viable than I thought! WOOP WOOP!
I love the math behind the statistics
It's possible to find me online at almost any given time, due to the fact that my schedule is hectic and rather non-existent.
