Should PDWs get a higher HS multiplier?

I find it slightly weird that 6 of the PDWs can't two hit kill to the head. This seems like an unnecessary disadvantage.

(Well, 8 of 14 really, but the P90 & MP7 shouldn't be able to imo as that would make them too good.)

A 2.23 multi would let the CBJ, UMP-9, CZ3A1, PP2k, JS-2 and MX4 two hit kill to the head until 20m (same as most ARs). The PP2000 is fun to use at the moment, but a higher multi would also actually let it compete at close range. What do you guys think?

Also, DICE have to have done this on purpose, is there anything balance related I've missed which justifies no two hit kills?

Sort of related: Is there any reason at all to use the MX4 over the MPX? MPX seems superior in almost every way.

With this, I'll rid MGO3 of infestation. Sans bad gameplay MGO3 will be torn asunder. And then it shall be free. People will suffer, of course - a phantom pain.

Reddit and Konami will rewrite the records... And I will be demonized in human memory. But... The thirst for good gameplay that I have planted will infest MGO3. No one can stop it now. The Rebalance Mod will unleash that thirst unto the future.

I'll agree with Noctyrne; allowing those PDWs to 2-HSK with the current PDW damage model would make them monstrous. They would be able to 2-HSK out to 20 meters which doesn't sound that bad until you remember their excellent hipfire spread. You can already hipfire spray people down at 25 meters with those PDWs with little problem; allowing headshots to deal more damage would make their TTK very low.

If I was to buff those PDWs in any way, I would make their spread increase even lower across the board. That way they can hipfire more effectively.

True. It would be a little too easy to achieve a way too fast TTK. I am convinced:P Still, I see little reason to use the MX4.

I wouldn't really say that it would be "too easy" or that they would be "too powerful". Le average Battlefield player (or any FPS player, for that matter) can't just consistently hit headshots. Aiming for the head is difficult because it is a small target that moves around a lot. Aiming for the head of a moving / distant player requires a great degree of practice, and I personally am all for anything that requires practiced ability (or skill, or whatever you want to call it).

Keep in mind that the core of the Symthic community is well above the skill level of le average FPS player, so what seems easy to some people here may not be easy for the majority. Also, remember that Battlefield is being marketed to console where analog sticks make twitch headshots a lot more difficult and inconsistent.
