### ADS and Soldier movement sensitivity settings

Hello all and Good Saturday to you

I have somewhat been going nuts on trying to find the setting that when and for example you are at a dead stop and you see a enemy run up ahead parallel to you how or what setting to you use to track him through your scope or even Iron sights? Maybe it has always been like this and I am not just noticing but I really think this has changed but I cannot seem to find the setting whether soldier movement mouse sensitivity adjustment (seems logical) or over all mouse sensitivity to set and be able to keep the running enemy in my scope.

It is like you see a enemy running out of a building from your right and he doesn't see you and you draw up your weapon (it seems to be the same for primary or side arms) and you want to track him or keep him in your scope to find the right moment to shoot but for some reason the speed at which you are tracking him or moving your gun from right to left does not keep up with that running soldier?

Hopefully what I am getting at makes sense but post patch sure I feel like the overall movement and controllability is a quicker and a little better but the ADS tracking seems slow and sluggish. What settings are best to adjust to quicken the ADS tracking? Because for me right now it is painfully slow and not to be able to keep up with and your target in your scope while ADS is a big deal IMO.

Amway's again I hope through the ramble someone can pick up on exactly what I am looking to gain more control over and that is mouse movement while ADS. I want to be able to see a enemy sprinting right to left or left to right and draw on that target and be able to keep up with him in my sights until I feel like shooting.

Hopefully someone can assist and by the way this is my first post to the site and I just signed up but I have visited often and wanted to thank many of you who have made some threads that have helped me either play a little better or get my settings set a bit better! Also thanks to Symthic for hosting such a great site that breaks down so much of the variables and dynamics with the weapons and like.

Kind Regards -

This might be what you are looking for: CTE Uniform Soldier Aiming Info or Important Guide to U - Forums - Battlelog
/ Battlefield 4

The patch introduced what is called "Uniform Soldier Aiming," which allows you to adjust the sensitivity of basically everything in the game. I'd post an image of what it looks like in the settings with every option available, but I can't seem to find one. Maybe someone else can help with that.
To Aim Assist or not to Aim Assist, that is the question.

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2\$ tho

There isn't some magical sensitivity value that allows players to track targets. Every player needs a different sensitivity and what works for someone else might not work for you. But from your posts it seems like you are playing with a lower sensitivity than you should. Try increasing your sensitivity (either in-game or through your mouse software (assuming you have a mouse with accompanying software)).

Also make sure that "enhance pointer precision" (AKA acceleration) is set to off (uncheck the box) and that your "pointer speed" is set to 6 (i.e. slider exactly in the middle) in Windows mouse settings.

It really is quite frustrating when Helen Keller sets up her LMG in the only doorway in/out of an area.

What kind of question is that? Since when is cheese ever a bad idea?

Hardline is a fun and sometimes silly Cops and Robbers sorta thing and I think that's great. Or it would be if it didn't suck.

As I started playing again, I am in the same hell. I am used to high sensitivity, roughly 4-5cm movement to do a full 360° turn. I understand that's probably not very good for accuracy, but when I tried to go lower, I just couldn't aim at all. I'd regularly completely miss someone who'd do a little as few steps sideways, because the mouse was just SO unresponsive. Shall I keep trying? Or shall I stick to extremely high sensitivity, and lower the main ADS sensitivity under UsA to like 50%?

low sensitivity is overrated

TLDR -
Teamwork is where players function by themselves, but their effectiveness is multiplied when they work together. Not a checklist of "did we bring a healer so we can start playing?"

Unless your current sensitivity (the high one you used until recently) is giving you problems there is really no reason to change. Use whatever sensitivity works best for you. That said, if you do want try lowering your sensitivity you need to keep at it (and expect to be shitty for some time). Learning a new sens takes some time. Lowering your ADS sens could work too, try it and see how it feels
