Eww Defensive, I haven't touched that since I unlocked Offensive, and I haven't touched that since I unlocked the class-specific trees. Combat Medic, Mechanic, Indirect Fire, and Spec Ops are the best as standard, though the other four are useful too.

Unless you're trying to kill vehicles, in which case AT is better.

^ Yes, but that same sort of idea applies to all four of the other class-specific trees; they're essentially BF2's classes.

The perk itself isn't getting changed, but all automatic weapons that deal 25 max damage and over have been reduced by one damage point, which means for all intents and purposes Defensive only counters Shotgun slugs and close range Bolt Actions. Which are the only two things it was ever supposed to counter in the first place.

And at the same time needlessly reduces the effectiveness of every single weapon in the game. GG DICE you useless fucking twats!!!
*Ragequits*

If by that you mean only within 10-15m and also only if all rounds hit the chest (no head/arm/leg shots), then yes.

Combat Medic is VERY good. The defib upgrade is god-like, so yeah go for it over defensive anyday !

I am all about team-play, so I always run with the Medic upgrade. Very useful if you play Medic right. If you play more like an Assault, then it is a waste.

Spoiler Spoiler

Will it protect against STD's?

I'm a fan of the show, but not a "Brony". I don't obsess over it, but I do watch it and enjoy it.

Everything is worth giving up defence for, especially after the next patch. Medic >>> defence.
Defensive perk gonna change?

A reason for me then to switch finally hehe. I wanted to run offensive or something else for a while. But the body armor is so atm you almost need to use it. :P

No you don't. Armor isn't as useful as you think. The most useful perks in the defensive tree are actually quick regeneration or flak, depending on what server and map you're on.

And reading Youtube comments still gives me Turbo Cancer.

It really is quite frustrating when Helen Keller sets up her LMG in the only doorway in/out of an area.

What kind of question is that? Since when is cheese ever a bad idea?

Hardline is a fun and sometimes silly Cops and Robbers sorta thing and I think that's great. Or it would be if it didn't suck.

Only reason I wouldn't use Combat Medic is because I like having Ammo more. Speaking of which, did the perks get fixed in CTE? I remember that the perks never used to work when I actually needed ammo.

That was fixed in vanilla a while ago (Naval Strike?), they always work for me now.
