Just played, realised that Carrier Assault is remarkably pissing me off.
AC130 is raping the shit out of anything and there are no MAA neither jets on this mod. I am not going to spend 5 TVs (will be dead after 2nd anyway) or 4 SRAWs to take it down.

Actually, there is MAA on Op Mortar Carrier Assault Large, but SURPRISE SURPRISE...

THERE IS NO AC-130 8o 8o 8o

DICE, why on earth you decided to put AC-130 in carrier assault large mode? : battlefield_4

well,just don't play in games with a commander,never played a CA with commander,never had problems with the mode(but in <48p servers the games are realy quick,even if the teams are extremely balancd and can make it as long as possible,the m-com parts are just too fast even if the losing team is the one who nds up destroying both,imho there should be three m-coms or another way to win)

This predicament is where the differences in gaming platforms might surface. Speaking from PS4 experience, people seldomly opt to play as a Commander on any mode whether it is Conquest, Rush, or Carrier Assault. The PS4 audience prefers to engage in direct combat via infantry or vehicle occupation, not through Real Time Strategy that Commander Mode symbolizes/ represents. Additionally, can Commander Mode be disabled on Custom Servers?

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

Yeah, I think that's what it was. It was impossible to see outside of the carrier because of how much bloom there was too.

yep,even if the teams are balanced,and even if you can still "table-flip" the round even when both carriers are open and you hve only 1 m-com,that's just because the m-coms explode way too quickly,even in the longest match possible,the m-com part will still take only 2-3 minutes of the game,no more than 5 if both teams are incredibly good and resistent.

My limited experience of Carrier Assault so far shows that it has potential, but that DICE really needs to make the carrier breach more difficult, such as by adding a third objective that needs to be breached, to give team members time to return to the carrier. They also need to come up with something better than M-COMs as the targets.
Apart from that it can be good fun and the mix of CQ vs Rush objectives is actually quite cool.

However ... the maps themselves are lovely but totally unsuited to infantry operations. In CA it can be somewhat annoying but in CQ it is horrendous - between the OP patrol boats and scout choppers to the resurgence of snipers picking anyone stupid enough to stand up so they can attempt to fire at the vehicles, it just becomes so frustrating that you find yourself running back to the vanilla maps, which is a real shame.

I enjoy the game mode (luckily I have zero prior BF experience, so I can't compare to 2142's Titan Mode like a lot of the pissy pants have done on other forums), but I do feel they could make some tweeks to improve it. Most of my thoughts have been covered here, so nothing profound from me: Remove the AC130, or if you keep it in add jets and drastically increase the respawn time for it. Remove parachute spawning, replace with additional transport choppers -- make teams actually work as a team to board the opponent carrier(i.e. be smart enough to drop a spawn beacon, or have a constant circling Transport Chopper with repairs).

Liked it in the beginning but know I don't like this mode.
Rounds are too short, mcoms are very easy targets.
I would make some changes to make it better :
- more time to get carriers to get assaulted
- no AC130 ! why they put it in I really don't know ?!
- there can be fight only for 1 carrier (I had one round when our carrier were breached first and there was a fight going on inside and I took water scooter and I destroyed other carrier MCOMs ALONE without any defense and we won).
Side which lost the fight for flags are defending their carrier and the side which won the flags are attacking
- after breaching the 1 carrier flags should be gone and all soldiers should focus on carrier
- instead of stupid MCOMs there should be engine room that should be destroyed to sunk the carrier with mini levolution going on
- no parachuting!!!

don't know your rounds,but most of mine end up in a battle between both carriers,heck,one has even ended by using only the rocket pads... but it still was a short game.
