Joining Mid-Match on Conquest

Quite possibly one of the most threatening factors to tactical play is joining a game already in progress, as it is difficult to assess the situation and act accordingly without the proper intelligence. More often than not, the server positions you on the losing team :rolleyes: (as there are likely more available spaces due to quits) which presents severe disadvantages. Spawn points (Squad Mates, Capture Points/ Flags, Spawn Beacons) may appear to provide sanctuary when they are actually pathways into deathtraps and this outcome is naturally frustrating for anyone.

When commencing a match from the absolute beginning, two pieces of information are confirmed: all flags are neutral and the enemy is directly opposite of your current location. From this standpoint, you can create a strategic operation of how to approach the match. Your team or the opposing players now dictate how the battle will ensue with the constant capturing and recapturing of flags. Through this process, each team learns the mentality of the other: which flags are priority, which are negligible, which are valuable, the class tendency, soldier alignment and vehicle prevalence.

Initiating from mid-game prevents this knowledge; you are entering completely blind. :( And that does not bode well if you intend to support your team. It could be argued that this is precisely why Commander Mode was reissued for Battlefield 4, however I would rebut with the lack of knowledge regarding the general player audience. Most Squad Leaders are just realizing that the enemies can be marked with red-orange, hovering triangles and have yet acknowledged the ability to request orders from their Commander. :thumbdown:

The item of absolute importance is an in-browser system that displays the selected match in the server description, unfortunately consoles have yet to receive this function. ?( So until that arrival, do you guys have any suggestions or friendly advice to provide? Possibly opt to be a Spectator to ensure a complete game the following round?

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho

I would just play the game that you joined, try and cap some flags and turn the tides of battle (or hold the flags you already have in order to win the game). Once the game is over, you can get a fresh start.
I wouldn't go into spectator mode and just wait it out, unless thats something you personally want to do

I wonder if you could view the server list from your computer? You know, with all of EA's attempts to make the game as much of a multi-platform title as possible. That and there's always that crappy Battlelog app they tried to push.

I don't think it would be possible through battlelog, but one might be able to find console server information on bf4stats.com
It would be quite a hassle though. I would rather just join a server mid game, finish the game, then play a new one
