The only way I'd be fine with weapon packs would be if they had identical or very similar stats to existing weapons and were purely cosmetic. IE, L86A2 would be an AWS with bullpup modifiers and no other changes, a Mosin Nagant would be a reskin of the SV98, an XM8 would be a G36C with a built-in optic, ect.

What I would really like to see is attachment packs. Aimpoint sights, Trijicon packs, proprietary optic packs like a SUSAT+POSP+P90 RDS combo.

Yea I do look back fondly at the days of Black Ops (yes, the original) and the disgusting amount of customization possible for the RDS and Reflex sights. This is somewhat possible, but not going to happen in BF4

i wonder if that will happen for hardline though,i remember seeing in a video a pistol's red dot which was quite awkward.

I really like the whole adding fun yet somewhat pointless dlc gadgets and equipmen thing... the ammount of guns in bf4 is pointlessly bloated, and gadgets give much more space for the imagination. For example, i'd love to see a gadget that was really good at slowing down an big push from a bunch of infantry. I know that suppression was supposed to do that, but it never really seemed to work out that way. Something that would give us slower-paced players a little breathing room.
Just as a thought, i'd love to see trip mine based smokesreens or flashbangs. Nothing of too much of a stretch of the imagination. Just the same concept of a claymore with a wide range disruption tool instead of a short range directed explosive weapon.
Also, just one more side note, i think that the hand flares should have a random chance to spray confetti mindlessly or spin wildly on the ground

Crossbow!

Although it wasn't silly or pointless at all. It was basically the all-class, tool of death that could kill with one headshot at any range with the standard or long rangeBalanced bolt (forgot the actual term). It's close range killing potential was fabulous as well. Not to mention the ProximityScan Bolt allowed you to detect enemies within 10 meters?12 meters and the Explosive Bolt gave every class a semi-effective anti-vehicle option. I remember equipping this puppy with Support for unlimited powerfun. 8)

Gadgets suffer from the problem of game relevance vs OP-ness. Key example: the UCAV. That thing went OP/map ruiner to as rare as the Dodo.

I'd kind of like to see an anti-infantry launcher added to the assault class, but everyone bitched enough about the Carl Gustav in BC2 as it is and it would make metro/lockers rather painful.

The xbow was actually a pretty well implemented thing, it was just too dorky for me to bring myself to use it much. Also, an all kit prox sensor would basically ruin the already rare sensor-carbine recon player.

What about something like that rather dorky corner shot system?

inb4 ESL allows it because it helps headclipping.

We already have enough people bitching about clipping: last thing we need is a gadget where people don't even have to peek their heads around a corner to kill someone.

I buffed DMR velocity.

Don't you dare knock the UCAV! Have you unlocked the airburst yet and gotten 8 kills on a full C4-clad RHIB+ full FAC? Didn't think so. :P

But seriously, the airburst and timed respawn make this little slice of heaven a nightmare for watercraft, all things Helicopter, and roof Wookies. Just ask,

Oh you have no idea what you missed out on! The Normal Bolt acted like a shotgun slug with that 100-60 damage model, the Balanced Bolt basically gave you a sniper rifle (with garbage velocity) as a gadget, especially with the scoped variant. The Explosive Bolt gave you the power to severely damage armored vehicles (like 20+ damage to the rear of a tank) and get massive multikills with rubble drops. The Scan Bolt was certainly useful, for sure. Send one at a corner or through a window to see if anyone is nearby and get the jump on dudes like crazy. It was the BEST. GADGET. NO. DOUBT.

the Sebstalder is quiet good since it can 3hit kill at any distanc ,but In my opinion i actually thikn the sweeper is better, its got a really really fast firerate that can beat alll those Noobmaticos, Helregall adn shitguns in close quarters , and its also really accurate out to like l;ong range,. overall great allround gun, jsut my 2$ tho
