Tank gun accuracy...

Don't know if this is just a bug I experienced just once or something, but I aimed the tank cannon directly at a static object and the shot missed completely, it went off to the side or something... has anyone noticed this inaccuracy?

-Tank cannon reticle is misaligned up to 400 meters.

Is what was reported in the BF4 Beta Bugs Thread. So it seems to be a known bug, now it's just the question of whether it'll be fixed.

That's because tank shells come out of the cannon this time around, not the camera.

Bullets come out of the barrel as well, not your face.

Will take a while getting used to, but up close just aim with the gun instead of the camera.

I hope they fix the camera, or alternatively add an "ADS" mode to tanks where you actually use the tank's gun sight.

The amount of deviation from the sight seem to depend on elevation. If you aim high the round will hit directly to the right of the sight, if you aim low it will hit far below the sight, still off to the right.
