In other words, this game's code looks like it's written by 5 year old kiddo compared to how DICE did things with BF3.

So it takes 3 RPGs to kill a chopper? :O
Considering that normal RPGs will apparently be able to lock onto laser-designated targets, I could see why.

This is how it should have been done for BF3 from the start. Stinger nobs should be able to just point at the sky and get a disable.

So can you throw the minikits right after the other or do they have a 10s cooldown as the big ones? And I guess they do replenish? I do not know what to think of it, sounds more like a selfish tool really to only heal oneself, fast and easy. I agree with the toning down of the big medikit though.

And the defibs work as follows? : You put the defibs on a corpse for a short time, and that player will be revived with 10% or something? Do they have to accept to gain that health? And when you put it on them for a couple of seconds they gain full health? Doesn't sound like too much of a nerf, which is great since medic trains really only were a problem on two maps with two many players.

Nice and understandable write-up though. Thanks for that.

Sry Labby, could you elaborate what you mean by booster and flight stage? I do not understand the chart.

Sry Labby, could you elaborate what you mean by booster and flight stage? I do not understand the chart.

THe RPG starts at some initial speed, then accelerates at some rate, until it hits some max speed. Booster stage is during acceleration, flight stage is after max speed is reached.

Both RPG's have the same initial speed, 40m/s.

Both have the same max speed, 100m/s.

The difference is acceleration, 10m/s^2 in BF3, vs. 40m/s^2 in BF4.

Curved line = booster. Straight line = flight. Booster always comes before flight. Start with the curve, then switch to the line after the two touch.

You can use the chart to figure out how long it takes an RPG to reach a target at a given range, or how far the rocket travels in a given time frame.

Hmm... Anything about how long the booster is? Or just that 1 sec? Rather than being a booster it's just a constant speed.. oO

Ah okay I thought it was given RPG acceleration under different circumstances that I could not figure out. So on the whole this means RPGs travel faster and accelerate faster. Well that at least is good to know and a needed change. Yet from the chart it does not really seem all that significant. Thanks for clearing up.
