Well, this basically debunks our idea that all bolt actions wouldn't kill with a one hit HS at the damage drop off. SV98 FTW.

Also, notice the pretty high ROF on the PDWs.

Yeah, but in BC2 everybody was rocking magnum ammo (most weapons benefited from it).

And if my memory serves me right, DICE declared prior to BF3's launch that the weapons will be modeled after the XM8 (with magnum).

So the question is: will we see a comeback of the magnum ammo perk, or will we get higher TTKs?

L.E.: @Labby: could you please add what type of weapon each of them is? (PDW, Carbine, Assault rifle, etc.) I have a pretty good ideea from the damage model, but some of the names are completely meaningless to me.

At this point I think it's hard to say what the general purpose weapon/ generic stats for each weapon category is; which makes it hard to compare how weapon classes have been rebalanced. But it's good to see that there is a carbine with some buffed muzzle velocity that can match assault rifles, though it still seems a bit under powered with out buffed spread or damage drop off. Improved spread would have made sense as the buff, because shorter barrels are proportionally more rigid and can retain good groupings, but the lowered muzzle velocity is something that is unanimous to shorter barrels.

The RFB's stats are also interesting, it seems like a hybrid between the SKS and HK417. Is the M39 solidly confirmed as a DMR? Because to me this still kind of opens up the possibilities for semi automatics as recon only.

Also no HBAR? I think that would shake things up alot, especially limiting the range of the assault class. The suppressor also seems a bit lacking, but maybe the new maps play differently enough that just being omitted from the minimap is enough.

How about the first shot multiplier? If it's 1.5 it basically means that all the AFG does is reduce it to 1.0... Pretty pointless imo compared to the massive spread reduction of the normal FG :>

AK5C etc would be just as accurate (more at the hip) on the move :>
