Sensitivity discussion (2016)

Just stumbled upon an old necro thread on the subject, but since it got shot down rapidly, thought I'll start a new one.

Here is my story: Started off with 1500 dpi and slowly went down to 600 dpi (default in-game), where I am now. Heard some people saying (mostly CS:GO players) that lower sens. gives advantages, and, well, tried it and Yes, I tend to agree with them. However, I am at this point where I feel reluctant to go lower, because even 600 seems too low for my taste in some situations. I hear some very good players, much better than I, go even lower, yet others, like Brekk1e, Relaaa and few more claim they have higher sensitivity than me/equal, and, obviously, it works for them like a charm. Brekk1e's accuracy is still 24% on things like AEK, even though he sports high sens. So, where is the truth, Symthic comrades? I do feel that current 600 is pretty good middle ground, I managed to drive VAL accuracy to 20%, almost, but I always strive to get better in some way and maybe I should be lowering further? Or, the opposite?

Anyway, thanks for reading, I'd like to hear your thought process/experiences on the subject, maybe some hidden things will come to light?

I was once told that sensitivity had to be put as high as possible in order to capitalize on your body's blazing fast reaction speed.

If you weren't able to handle it, it was because you had low T and should look for hormone supplements.

Due to...Problems, I pretty much need my in-game sensitivity as low as it can go so that I can aim properly. Has worked in every FPS game so far :)

I used to keep my mouse DPI dead low as well, but it made navigating windows outside of games (and most menus inside of them) cumbersome, so now I usually keep my mouse DPI at around 1800, also helps cos I have a button on 99% of my keyboard profiles that drops my DPI even lower for precision aiming :)

5000dpi/5% in game. Have above average aim; it is better than the aim of some competitive players, worse than that of others.

Conclusion: DPI is entirely based on personal preference. Use what you are used to and do not change it.

Also: accuracy stats are completely irrelevant. Depending on what ranges I'm playing at, my overall accuracy for around can be as low as 20% or as high as 35% with the same weapon. Accuracy stats tend to reflect more on one's ability to not overshoot than actually acquire the target in the first place.

"you obviously don't know what an argument is as there is only one person battling. Do you really fucking think I want subs? You think you can act all big and powerful just because you sit on a computer at least 6 hours a day like the probably nerdy unwanted retard you are with 4.3k subs? You think 4.3k subs is a lot? LOL you need medicine man. I don't want any subs as i just have a google account for other media and writing comments. Think twice before you act. You even said in your video you aren't that great of a player, and the comments agree you aren't. Maybe you should once again think twice before you act, stop being such an annoying, ignorant bastard that everyone wants to shut up, and god, literally, just shut up. Your voice gave me a headache :s"

"As a youtuber shouldn't be trying to be reeling in your viewers with exciting stuff being said not your boring ass commentary for your video"

"The more you watch his vid the dumber he gets I swear he's borderline autistic look I got shot behind cover beacuase thin sheets metal are unpenetrable. Bf4 is just as quiet and tactical as bf3 random explosion in the background . Player has dissconected from chat
You started playing bf3 and never touched bfc1/2. Please do yourself a favor and shutdown your generic cod channel down"

"Nice clickb8 Faggot w8ting for your shit tier video to disable comments . Fucking newfag cancer go play some cod you activisiom cock faggot"

"I don't see why he [MarbleDuck] always tries to shit on levelcap he is better and has a million more subs...and also "there isnt a best gun in she game there are guns that are better that others at different engagement distances" yes thats true and whichever is the best/most average at all of them is the "best gun""

"Marbleduck you don't know shit lol levelcap knows more than you do you cant talk about how someone puts up garbage when you do yourself your a newcomer to YouTube acting like you know shit step up in the food chain first then you have the right to talk otherwise your just a fish trying to compete with sharks"

"Why don't we just witness "LevelCap vs MarbleDuck" One on One both on Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 seen as there is so much Controversy about the Two Youtubers"

"stfu cunt, BF3 was way better end of discussion"

"Stfu man, you're be littleing the most looked upon Battlefield Youtuber. No one cares about you, how much of an ego you have, or quite frankly your opinion. It's a fucking game.... Does it really fucking matter? Pathetic man."

"fuck you asshole, dont talk shit about total"

"Wtf is your problem? You have no subs and he has millions, yet you pick on him like some kind of stubborn, ignorant, rude child born with a silver spoon is his mouth. It's easy to do that, for example... You said there was no background noise yet there is. You say you're a fairly good player, you're not."

"please talk like a normal person and not like a professional"

I guess you are using Uniform Soldier Aiming? If you feel like you can aim better keep going lower until you reach your barrier where you feel it's a negative. I am a strong supporter in not using Uniform Soldier Aiming, I can move around easily with 35cm/360 and ADS aim just fine at closer to 45cm/360 the two are close enough that its not a issue at having muscle memory.
