TUGS I think only 1 (maybe 2) can exist in the world, like claymores or C4. The previous simply vanishes.

In the case of MAVs, the deploy button is also the same for the use button (please correct me if I'm doing it all wrong all my life, lol)

Which means that :
-Deploy MAV, USE fly it.
-Run somewhere else, resupply
-USE MAV, except that since you have another MAV on stock, you deploy a newer one, the older MAV vanishes and you've lost whatever tactical benefit you've planned for the previous one.


Case in point : is there a separate use / deploy button for the MAV or...

So if I get this straight, there is no point to use laser pointer and to zoom in ADS while using flechette or buck, right?
Yeah, laser only affects your hipfire spread. Though your opponents might find a laser to the face to be annoying...

I meant hipfire spread, since Aenonar said "cone spread" is unaffected.
So, my questions are still alive:
-Is there any advantage in using laser pointer (other than blinding enemies) equipped on a shotgun with flechette or buck while hipfiring?
-Is there any advantage to go ADS while using shotguns with flechette or buck?

ADSing costs valuable time that you often don't have in a shotgun engagement. You can actually test how useful the laser sight is by equipping it, flashing it on and off, and watching the circle size change. In both cases, the accuracy advantage is very difficult to notice.

Yeah, but I don't have any time until monday, so I can't try the circle size change.

So if I drop a TUGS, run down the alleyway, and resupply at a ammo box I lose the TUGS automatically? Damn that's lame.
No, if you drop a TUGS, run down the alleyway, resupply, and then drop a new TUGS then your old one blows up. The old one is only destroyed when you deploy a new one. This is a problem with the MAV and SOFLAM. Normally you can set one up, leave, and then use your old MAV in its last spot with the 4 key. Now you pull out a new MAV and have to fly it all the way back to where the old one was.

Technically there is a miniscule improvement, but it is completely insignificant and not worth it.

there is no point to zoom in or change stance when buck / flechete, all accuracies are the same
laser lowers hip spread, so if you zoom with laser you only hurt yourself.

Strange, because patch notes said:
"Zooming shotguns with Buckshot and Flechette loads will now result in a slightly tighter cone for the pellets."
well in the shotgun files, bucks have 3.0 - 8.0 flechets 2.5 - 8.0 for all stances, there are no specifics for ads / hip. unless im missing something (870 has same values just max = min, hmm?)

question, squad expl perk does it add anything to expl damage / radius if so which weapons would be affected? or just capacity of exploding things?

what happend with shotgun charts? bf3
