I just got headshotted with a Scar-H last night while gunning the Humvee (it was brand new and I didn't notice any bloodsplosion around), shouldn't it be impervious to boolets (untill a door comes down) ?

My guess is that if the dude stands close enough to a game wall when he can glitch through it a little. IDK maybe he stood close enough to shoot past the glass. Which brings up another question; how close was he/how far away? Perhaps maybe the glass is pierced by heavier ammo and not just sniper rifles.

EDIT:

The humvee glass is 100% impervious to bullets (even magnum ammo) afaik.

It really is quite frustrating when Helen Keller sets up her LMG in the only doorway in/out of an area.

What kind of question is that? Since when is cheese ever a bad idea?

Hardline is a fun and sometimes silly Cops and Robbers sorta thing and I think that's great. Or it would be if it didn't suck.

No bullets of any kind pass through the glass of the humvee ( and as of the Endgame patch, this is also true of the vodnik ), you were probably shot because a door or hatch was down ( hatches in the rear and top, and four doors ) which can be destroyed by explosives, M320 smoke, HMG, .50s, you can even destroy them by crashing into stuff, or by getting rammed. all of that kind of stuff.

Almost certainly a door or hatch was down and you got shot.

Hmm, wow. I could have sworn I made an account a long time ago - guess not. Hello everyone, I'm a longtime lurker (right when BF3 first released and Den Kirson quit updating his Xanga and sir Symthic himself directed anyone interested in BF3 stats to his nifty new website).

My questions are: Is there somewhere I can find weapon data/charts from earlier patches? Like at release or a certain date.
and
Has anyone experienced a strange bug of sorts where maybe 1/4 times you try to ADS, your gun begins to ADS but just goes back to hipfire? Sort of like this but less severe Battlefield 3 ADS Glitch - YouTube it massively affects my playstyle knowing that I can't even rely on being able to aim. Very frustrating issue with no clear answer. Does anyone have/had this issue? If so have you solved it?

What kind of connection do do you have? Do you usually play in mid-high ping servers? Do you suffer from heavy loss of packets? I'm asking because it happens to me too, in BC2, and I have a high ping generally and my crappy connection drops a shitton of packets.
As far as I know, this happens because when you ads while having a hiccup connection-wise, the server forces the client to return to the last known position and state. As a consequence, ANYTHING you did past that timestamp (reload, ads, swap weapons) is dumped.
This is a very non technical answer, I'm sure someone else will give a more scientific one.

EDIT: I don't know about the video you posted, it seems he forgot to set the aim button on "toggle" instead of the other option.

AK-74 underslung

Now then.

If I decide to go underslung with the m320 buck or any of the m26 variants on my silenced ak-74m, would they be affected by any of the underslung glitches, or am I good to go?

Nope, the underslung glitches (namely, the range reduction for the M26) still apply. Sorry, no optics for you.

@Clint_Easywood
I tested with the M26 SLUG and the drop-off start dropped to the AR's value while underslung independently of the suppressor being attached or not (8 meters for both), assuming the same happening with the other kind of ammo (Buck, Flechette and Frags) going underslung would benefit your drop-off end with buckshot (with the plus of being kept off the minimap while firing if underslung to a rifle with the suppressor attached)
