Only against armor. HE vs. aircraft is a one hit disable, but smoke barely does any damage.
haha, I could not keep myself from laughing at this comment. Mortar is OP vs aircraft :P

Eh, the average Joe won't usually know these things, but I agree with Rube, it isn't something really not known.

And TBH, if it were so game breaking, we would see the same amount of people (ab)using it as it happened with UDartBro, right?

I find majority of the complaints I hear about this game somehow never appear in my games.

I find it strange they didn't patch the other hipfire glitch.

Is this the "suppressed mortar" bug thingy?

I dislike it, simply because I use one of the offending items as my main weapon on support and if I want to countermortar, I feel unfair if I don't change said weapon and I get pissed if I do change it because LMGs suck.

Also known as 'making the mortar somewhat useful'.

Truth...Never would have been able to grind out the medal without it...(And you never know true rage until you're getting hitmarkers and kill assists from direct hits...ON HARDCORE!)

And as other have noted, mortar users are still pretty easy to find if someone wants to find them -- Some dude dropped a full load of C4 on me and had time to type out a hatemail taunt before detonating (didn't matter because I still went 17-3 and that kid ragequit just before his team lost the last set of M-Coms) :P
